Re: transfer window

Real Madrid are interested in signing Caylan Vickers in January from Reading. Reading reportedly want £1 million with a sell on clause. Leicester, Norwich, Celtic and Arsenal also said to be interested. https://twitter.com/lewisradbourne1/status/1733561571014594926?t=1sWDAxIHuZO3N1zPEcqBVg&s=19 ...

Also Clarke wasn't first choice for the Unders - Wareham and Wellens see to be above him in the pecking order - though his possibly more experienced as he's been out on loan before. Another loan is probably a good thing for all involved.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h)

We watched last night's game on Royals TV and it is the first time for ages that I've been stood up for the final 10 minutes of a Reading game as recently I've simply expected us to lose but last night was genuinely exciting! The penalties (and goalkeeping) just upped the emotions to another level

Injury updates from Selles - TMac a couple of weeks away - Yiadom slight issue but back full training - Dorsett knee injury, doubtful for Saturday but should be back for Oxford - Also Mbengue came off with a calf issue, but just a precaution rather than anything serious https://twitter.com/AndyPrest...

Saw this on Twitter and agree it might be nicer than tennis balls for Christmas matches: https://twitter.com/SimonPovey1970_/status/1732427450100158655 How about this for a protest, throw cuddly toys onto the pitch then collect all the toys and give them to a local children's charity, get people on ...

It's the one that's blame the ELF that annoy me... do they not realise that at this time of year if they continue like that they won't be getting any Christmas presents

Over on that Twitter there is talk of getting a game abandoned I'm not sure at the moment how what the fans do affects what Dai does If he has moved the goalposts on the sales contract (probably wanting as much money as possible, perhaps by selling the ground separately) then which of the fans recen...

Favourites and the unfavoured

What is it with Selles and his sudden refusal to play Vickers? Why does he always play Azeez? NGW has disappeared off the face of the planet again... Why do managers tend to favour certain players over others to the bemusement supporters? I appreciate he has a system but Vickers fall from favour hap...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Eastleigh (a)

Eastleigh are capable of defeating us, we need a composed and professional performance. Wouldn't be upset with a replay Replay is probably best all round. Maximise income for both clubs. Probably also televised and a bigger attendance. Worth noting that a replay means the Oxford game would be pushe...

6 points from 2 games then you read on Twitter what Selles said to Tim Dellor and realise those points could be taken away again in the blink of an eye: Dom Ballard out for the rest of the season. @ReadingFC manager confident team is on the rise going into December. Unsure whether they will be paid ...

Snippet from Wikipedia entry for 2011-12 season - Despite a poor start, which saw them 23rd in the table at one point, Reading went on to win 17 of 23 games in the second half of the season, securing the Championship title and ensuring promotion back to the Premier League. McDermott was named the LM...

Azeez's low corners are really winding up Mick and Tim. They think they are poorly taken, I think they've been worked on on the training ground.
