Re: New Kit - Rate the kit POLL ADDED

Saw the QPR kit on SKY Sports News highlights of their PSF at Aldershot. Nice tidy hooped kit, white shorts and devoid of bib. How come those clowns can get it right but RFC can't? Saw the QPR kit live at Aldershit! It's not great to be honest. My god the EBB stadium at the recreation ground is bad...

Re: BBC Coverage next season

I don't know if people are aware of this, but next season all football league goals will be available on BBCi to UK users. I have to ask the question, why not world users? I'll be out of the country for a year, why shouldn't I be allowed to watch our highlights? What difference does the country I l...

Imagine the whole of the east stand stood, pointing chanting 'Bill Oddie rub your beard all over my body' while he did the draw

Re: Official Campaign for the return of......

Because we like Bill Oddie and think there should be a national Bill Oddie day, the man is a genius and is not appreciated enough. One day the club will get him along as a guest and he'll do the golden gamble draw and the place will come alive. http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/content/images/2007/09/17/...

Re: No.13 - Will We Turn Up?

- no stewards or stadium officials will be able to take action against a large mass of people determined to stand. It needs a critical mass to be reached and then no action can be taken - which is why at Liverpool, Newcastle, West Ham, Cardiff and many other clubs then there is mass standing an the...

Re: Sky Sports All Time Greatest

Hurley obviously hadn't done a background check on the 21 year old Friday because if he had he might not have signed him. One incident whilst playing for Hayes saw the team start a match with 10 men as Friday hadn't finished down the pub. He arrived late and after protests from the manager he took ...

Ian Royal Every game is an away game for me

Not if you went and watched Cmabridge or Histon. Saying that if you watched Histon you'd need neck surgery by the end of the season.

You can punt to games though

Re: Biggest Rivals

Yet, like I said, doesn't matter what league theyre in. Forest (6), Preston(4), Burnley(3), Sheff Wed(3), Pompey(4), Saints(1), Huddersfield(4), Leeds(7), etc etc have won major trophies. I'm afraid this is where Reading lack as a club. In terms of not winning trophies, just being in the top flight...

Re: New Royals song for 09'

I think the club would not oppose a statue in principle however the COST is likely to be the main stumbling block.Going from the Ted Bates status at Southampton which cost just over £100,000 i think if the fans and supporters club raised most of the money the club could be bullied into paying the re...

Anyone who went to the Swindon friendly a couple of years ago with the huge steward presence, police helicopter and hillbilly reading fan getting attacked would see them as a rival.

I'm sure as the world and his dog are in love with Facebook and twatter at the moment, getting a group requesting a stand naming would get quite far.I reckon "the Copp" for the north stand.Or just the Steve Coppell stand.
