Re: The Mental Health Thread

Norfolk Royal I was planning to have one tin of Ghost Ship on Saturday night but after hearing the result I upped the ante and had two.

A nice drop but unusually for me it's an ale that gives me hangovers. Probably because I drink too much of it LOL.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Shrewsbury Town (a)

shadesrwrf "Matchwatch" oh the irony, as fewer and fewer actually are!

tbh I'm not sure that holds for away games - attendances are booming and getting tickets is becoming more and more of an issue for the casual fan.

Brogue on page one i said

Also not sure about having away fans sat above home fans with the potential for them to throw things down to the Reading fans in the lower west.

It's a shame it had to come to this, but do you feel vindic8d, Brogue?

Re: Eastleigh away - FA Cup round two

WestYorksRoyal Tricky. Sort of game where I could see them trying to bully us to make up for the gulf in talent. And they may well succeed

You know what they say WestYorks, there's no easy games at this level.

Re: “ Sell before we Dai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group v2.3 sponsored by Dunlop Tennis Balls

There are lads on X posting pictures of packets of tennis balls calling for multiple disruptions every game until Dai sells up, it`s clear that he doesn`t give a toss even if he actually knows about it. It`s cost us two goals already and surely only a matter of time before a referee abandons a game...

Re: Football Stadia - Past, Present & Future

Forest Green Rovers new stadium is underway - pretty much made out of wood. Still think they are waiting final planning sign off but bore hole work has commenced and actively on site. https://i2-prod.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/incoming/article6886569.ece/ALTERNATES/s810/0_Stroud-stadium.jpg https://...

Good day out though - prematch refreshments at the Pride o'Spitalfields, The Kings Arms, The Camel, The Palm Tree then Leyton Star and The Birkbeck after. Good pubs, some great, 5km walk in total. Went to the Palm Tree post-match. Properly interesting pub that. Also went to the Morgan Arms and Lord...

Re: The 92 Club - how many have you done?

Ark Royal 72, which includes old grounds and grounds at non-league clubs

Fair play I probably should've done the same - as I was finding that over half of my ticks are clubs either now relegated or moved stadium.

Lost heart in a moment of nostalgia and didn't finish counting.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leyton Orient (a)

Ok a more serious note why are they called Leyton Orient when they're based in the UK? Surely should be Leyton Occident. It's thought Orient comes from the name of a shipping company (Orient Steam Navigation Company - now better known as P eninsular & O riental). Back in the late 1800s the club...

Yes in an increasingly carbon offsetting/aware environment, FIFA in not reading the room shock.

I'm sure they've just done it to "gift" it (receive a bribe) from the Saudis.
