Re: Opposition fans back from the game

So we’ve identified two that aren’t. Its all ok, my Fulham supporting mates have shifted the balance back to the norm. A few quotes from the exchange. - Stunned that we lost to a team like Reading - Fulham won the game for Reading - Reading were boring and cheated through out. - Parker is the worst...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Well my Fulham season ticket holder buddy just texted me and said "well played Reading, if we had your defense we'd be a good side, we had a good go and you stuck at it, good win" so they aint all knobs My friend also said we deserved to win. They're not all numpties. So we’ve identified ...

Re: Gunter - did Stam make him shit?

I am still waiting for the debate, i am hoping it will come along after 40 posts about who is more childish  Gunter should play this Saturday if there is any doubt about Yiadom as he has proved to be an effective replacement. There is also an argument, that if we wanted a more defensive set up...

Re: Leeds fans everywhere

When it's a problem every year, how hard is it to restrict sales to people who have bought a home ticket for a non-Leeds game in the last 12 months? Lets be fair about this, the normal allocation for Leeds in the past has been 4800 and then you still had hundreds in the home ends. You then reduce t...

Re: BFTT Leeds

Richards and Gunter just didn't get forward enough in the 2nd half. I couldn't tell if it was due to being occupied by Leeds or a tactical decision..... The lines between attack and midfield were too great. A isolated Puscas just meant he wasted possession every time + Meite was never close enough t...

Re: Ejaria vs Siggy

Siggy did what was needed to create and score. Which makes him the better player. Ejaria does what is needed to turn inside out defenders which is great fun to watch........but holds onto the ball maybe a little too long. Experience is key, Ejaria will learn that releasing the ball early has just as...

Re: BFTT - QPR (A)

There’s a chance he might get done for it. Didn’t think it was particularly bad personally - and their bald CB elbowed Puscas later on which wasn’t much better Thing with that one is you could argue it was just a mistimed challenge. Miazga's was a clear look to see the referee had his back turned, ...

Re: Next Manager

Just a thought....
Wasn't Bowen being hailed last season in the last few games with advising Gomes on tactical advice on opposition players?
Maybe in his role he couldn't influence Gomes on how teams would set up against his teams this season- really exposing Gomes' downfall.....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (h) sponsored by a Yann Kermorgant penalty

Of course Fulham will look at Swift and try and nullify his influence on the game. I would think every manager in the league will see that as prioty number 1 when facing Reading atm. Dare i say it, the way Mitrovic plays suits Moores defensive style. Think he would relish the physical side to his ga...

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

Meite was very good at the back end of last season and literally won us games on his own so he has a lot of credit in the bank with me. Yep this. Very much took games by the scruff of the neck and dragged the team with him at times. Meite offers us something a bit different. On goal kicks, if we st...

Re: Puscas speculation.

Puscas will be absolutely fine once we start playing to his strengths. He should be 1st name on the teamsheet and given the service he needs in order to score goals. some consistency of selection and set up might help tbh Yep a settled team will 100% help. Also a few players need to release the bal...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (h) sponsored by a point off Europe

Puscas does need a run in the team, key for this season would be getting Swift and Puscas to form some understanding on the pitch.
Meite, I feel has faith in the bank from last season to edge it over Joao atm.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by Adam Federici

A new formation? makes sense that we played it at Wycombe then. Hopefully it wont be too disruptive to the work that had been done pre season etc.
Disciple and concentration must be at full come saturday then as we know a Warnock side will be extremely well drilled in there patterns of play.

Re: BFTG - Wycombe Away

In a word - Disjointed. But kind of understandably so.... There is some quality raw material to work with. Jose just needs to settle on his way of playing and let the players bed in. Massive difference to where we were a year ago. Starting formation didn't help tbh. Felt it strange to be going with...

Could Barrows fee and his wages off our books be worth more in a year than the initial payment we would have gotten for Loader?

Re: Rival Watch

Parachute payments should only be used on wages, not transfer fees.
Its like relegated teams have a extra cash injection on top of the PL money to have a head start on the rest of the league. Just doesn't sit well with me.
Plus its Fulham, worst fans and they have a neutral stand....

Re: Formation for the season ahead

I'm not getting the Richards Loving here. His best game was his full debut. After that he looked out of his depth, was clearly targeted when he was starting. He filled a gap when needed, he stepped up. He is a very useful back up and bench player. Not a starter. Again with all our players, I am happ...

Re: CONFIMRED - Matt Miazga

Clean sheets guarantees points. There is no point being able to score 2-3 goals a game but concede just as many. At the moment, scoring 1 a game looks like it may be challenging so clean sheets are going to be vital. At least it keeps us in the game. There was long stretches last season where we di...
