Re: Kit - Hoops All The Way Round?

What would be a refreshing thing to see then, if the hoops has no effect on sales either way, maybe the club could acknowledge that Reading FC have historically worn blue and white hoops, and that a portion of fans are vocal in seeing this on our annual kit refresh, that they will make every effort ...

Re: Kit - Hoops All The Way Round?

Sat here and re-read the whole thread. An utterly abhorrent attitude from STAR who, despite having been somewhat helpful to me personally in the past, are not interested in taking the lead in issues that fans want taken up. A seriously more pro-active approach should be taken up whereby STAR should...

Re: Fans' Forum

It's not the way it's ever appeared to be handled from an HNA posters point of view though. All we ever read on here is that you can't take anything posted on here back to STAR or the club because of the anonymity. If anyone has an issue it's usually met with a 'send us an email' response and we'll...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Now i'm sure this question comes up every year, but i'm not sure it ever gets a factual answer - Why do Reading always seem to be one of the last teams to release it kit for next year, for sale or not? Especially the away kit, as there was a period in the past that the away kit wasn't available unti...

Re: Match Ticket Prices 2012/13

Because it's not £100 million - that's the potential earnings through tv, money, prize money, parachute payments and potential increased revenue from being a premier league club having increased ticket, merchandise, hospitality sales etc.

And besides, all that will go on players wages anyway...

Snowball
Maguire Did you give Roberts an assist for Hunt's goal on Saturday?

Yes, even though maybe a defender touched it last.

It was Roberts "bulldozer" that made the chance.

Which means I may be underestimating Roberts' assists

That's ridiculous

Do you even know what an assist is?

Re: Pompey going bust could help us go up

Either that or the punishments for entering administration need to be reviewed - 10 point penalty is not enough of a deterrent to clubs to keep their house in order. Maybe if a "double relegation" was the result, clubs may not gamble so much

Re: Pompey going bust could help us go up

It won't happen, how many clubs have been in administration over the past, say 10 years? And how many have been liquidated?

Re: Kit - Hoops All The Way Round?

I would have thought if Star presented to the club the result of an online poll stating that 89% (as it currently stands) of Reading fans want to see a return to hooped shirts, that would have a far greater impact than just one or two complaints to the club? Quite agree but the current number of 53...

Re: Kit - Hoops All The Way Round?

Good stuff, as many votes as we can and then send the results to the club - perhaps Star could get involved in this one if there is overwhelming fan support? We regularly ask and apart from there being no way they will allow a public vote, it is a fact that they get more complaints about not being ...

Re: A33 after the game.

The real idiots are the planners at RBC. Their anti-car fascists wanted people to travel to the stadium by foot. So what do they do? Fail to provide a bridge or subway to get those pedestrians across a dual carriage way, build ridiculously narrow pavements along that same dual carriage way and top ...

Hugo Boss Too much aggro to get staging, flooring etc. in and out apparently m8.

Lazy bztards! We really need a big decent music venue to attract good bands.
