Who was the keeper who just turned up with his boots at Leeds for the League Cup 1/4 final? Kenny Brown just seemed to come & go as he pleased. Some guy called Brook who played for Spurs in the 81 Cup Final? Gary Brook i think? We had him on loan in 1991 when he was fcking crap. Came with anothe...

Re: Interesting statistic!

Heres an interesting statistic; Of the top 11 sides in the Premiership at the moment, we havent beaten any of them meanwhile . . . . of the bottom nine clubs we havent dropped a point against! a similar statistic; of the 6.5 billion people on this earth, about half of them are men meanwhile.... of ...

I am resigned to the fact that we will always have music after goals. But why can't we have something different ? Id like to see different music depending on who scores. eg If Lita scores they can play the music for DA DA DA DA, LEROY LITA. Like we sing for him anyway. That might encourage fans to ...

all match day music kills the atmosphere . i cant be having that. The pre match music and video without doubt has had a positive effect on the atmosphere. Im not a great fan of the goal music, but some people seem determined to get rid of the things that improve the atmosphere. Get rid of the drumm...

When shorey scored on sunday i reckon about 80% of the people were 'dancing' to Tom Hark. An on line poll voted by a tiny minority of Reading fans is hardly a worthwhile guide. I dont like because its so unoriginal. But it seems most others are still content with it. If they get rid of it they will ...

We'v scored goals from all over the pitch again this season. Shoot me down if you want but, I can't say we're missing Kitson..... We've scored less than a goal a game since he picked up the injury. And since the Boro game the total goals scored by his replacement? None. So id say we have missed him.

Good news, but i think we will still be on the look out for another striker.

If we're succesful, I have the feeling Leroy will be on his way in January.

Are you allowed to wear those yellow bibs for Sunday morning games?

Having said that, i certainly wouldnt want to go back to the Burns/ Bullivant era, no way pedro! At least back then we had a bit of fun on the South Bank, no stewarding issues or anything back then. And the football was entertaining at least....for the away fans anyway! Fun being the key wo...

Very mixed feelings for me as well. I have to admit, im not really enjoying it as much as i thought i would. August 19 v Boro was without doubt the best game played at the Madejski, and ranks as the most momentus day in the clubs history. Now its all settled down, there are plenty of negatives: a) o...

Lester Schapter
Clive Wilkes
Brian Coddington (the only ref to send off 4 players from 1 team)

They're shit refs for you. Compared to them i'd have Rennie as ref any day.

Besides, surely we would want a poor ref for this game anyway? More chance of evening it up

Also worth consdiering that if ever there was going to be a time to have a bad run, now is probably it. Even if we were playing better football, we prob wouldn't have too many points to show from it with such a rediculous run of tough fixtures anyway.

Charlton & Fulham will be crunch time

The answer to this stupid bickering is simple. Whatever is sung from Y24/25/26 can't be heard by just about everyone else in the rest of the East, North and West. Its just bad acoustics. its always been like that. Hence why about 2,000 were singing 'Divers' and about 20,000 were singing 'Lets all do...

Any indication of how much this will cost the club? I seem to recall seeing ball park figures of £1,000 per seat. How much of an effect will this have on our transfer budget over the next couple of years? JM also said that any redevelopment wont start until we have firmly established ourselves as a...

Without those 23 goals, we would have been relegated to the basement division. I suppose you would have been happier with that as long as he didn't play. Good point, Caskey's goals that season turned the fortunes of the club. That was the season that our upward trend started. If it kept us u...
