How long before Dellor takes a dislike to Clarke

Being a season ticket holder normally listen to berks for away reports. This season has seen Dellor aided by his cronie the legend that is Adie Williams slagging Atkins, but never to his face, Tim seemed to delight every time the opposition scored and then would state his opinion, strangely I though...

Re: Wolves - back from the sofa

Figures don't really tell the whole story. Pog, when playing, has been stuck in a team creating next to no chances. Since Murray has come in along with the other new signings, we have been creating a huge amount more (admittedly that could be down to Murray/Pog being out of the team). I'd be very i...

Re: Wolves - back from the sofa

I thought the defence was poor again, the goals we conceded were comical in the extreme and I guess Obita was due a bad game. I thought the game was passing by Akpan and I wasn't surprised when he came off at half time, he was just being passed around all the time and wasn't really getting involved...

Re: Wolves - back from the sofa

Say what you want about akpan. Alright not his best game but no akpan second half left our fragile defence wide open to walk straight through the middle. You always need a ball winner in the middle of the park Akpan isn't a ball-winner either though. I'm not an Akpan fan particularly either but tho...

Re: Hob Nob is Twenty! Enter the competition here...

Three favourite memories:

1) Moving to Madstad

2) Promotion @ Brentford then back at the stadium with the players on top of the coach

3) Winning @ Southampton with two crackers from Alfie to almost sort promotion and the championship

Royalwaster Who Is Anderson?

I think you'll find he was in the Matrix played by Keanu Reeves, now he's got bored with that and become our keeper

Re: BFTG Millwall

Two honest but limited teams going at it. A draw would have been a fair result. First twenty minutes went better than we could have expected then Holloway made his change and the whole complexion of the game changed as well. They dominated from that point onwards and when Norwoods water carrier was...

Re: BFTG Millwall

Will agree that Glen Murray didn't play as well as Saturday, but then Fulham were bad. Millwall did a job on him fairly & unfairly and we really didn't give him any support, he needs players to lay off to and flick to, in the second half in particular there was nobody. Still whatever way you lo...

Re: Who Goes Federici or McCarthy??

If he has gone which looks likely, it seems a shame because I think he could have been in the top 3 English keepers with some better coaching than we provided

Re: Who Goes Federici or McCarthy??

Well, it's obvious SJM is still sticking his beak into shit. Literally kicking players out the door and as usual only pennies for Akpan clones made available. Meanwhile Leeds have made 12 signings. Watch them join the ranks of teams we used to smash, overtaking us. Yep Leeds are going to overtake u...

Re: Confirmed - Le Fondre to Cardiff

Yep good luck Alfie, where I can see he's not everyone's cup of tea, he's a proven goalscorer, who at times had only short match time, but still generally produced the goods. Now we'll be left with the god like Pog who is draining the club dry monetarily, and not producing on the pitch. HRK who for t...

Re: Pogrebnyak

Still feel he is an over-rated moody player, if he is so good now, why did he not produce any of it last season when we needed him to, and don't say its all about the service, last season he didn't give a toss for the majority of the time

Re: Chris Baird

Very impressed by Baird so far, gives us stability, allows Guthrie a bit more freedom, plays the simple ball well, and can play a number of roles, apparently anywhere across the defence, as well as the holding midfielder. Feel we should sign him on a proper contract sooner rather than later

Re: 1985/86 and all that

Stuart Beavon was a class act who played some great football for us, it was sometimes the other players who weren't quite on his wavelength I remember going to both Cardiff, who were struggling big time but still had some very unfriendly fans and trev scoring a hatrick & Newport where we took at...

The other point to make is we normally buy cheaply or reasonably and we normally source 'hungry' players( not incl Rasiak & Pog) who have something to prove

Also before we start feeling sorry for the incredible Pog, remember he earns more in a week than the rest of us earn in a year
