Re: FA Cup 19/20

+1 If it was possible, winning every game in the championship > losing every game in the prem. Can't say just getting smashed by Liverpool/Man City as soon as we meet them in the cup is that appealing either tbh A game like that is a great one off ocassion that can liven up a midtable Championship ...

Re: FA Cup 19/20

If the Bristol City game is reorganised for the Tuesday then Reading will also have 3 games in 6 days. Both sides are therefore very likely to field strong “youth/reserve” sides in the cup. Reading would be silly in arranging the game for that Tuesday. far better for Tues/Wed February 4/5th or Tues...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (a) sponsored by Eamon Dunphy

They can be you're right, In Wallace's case I think he hasn't done it consistently for long enough just yet to command a huge fee, Bowen at Hull for example has be outstanding for two seasons now and would command a big fee. Wallace isn't at that kind of level yet. Speaking of Bowen I have no idea ...

https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2020/january/-nolan-seals-permanent-move-to-walsall Jack Nolan leaves to join Walsall. Interesting. Obviously thinks he has got a good shot at first team football there. I don't think I have ever seen him play so wouldn't like to comment, maybe one of the regular yo...

Re: FA Cup 19/20

Club 1871 closed for the Cardiff game. That will go down well. Always going to be the case though in the Cup if the away side take their full allocation. Would imagine all 1871 STs were made aware of that when buying them. Sure some will complain though. Don't recall getting anything about it, but ...

Re: Champions League/Europa League 2019/20

UEFA pushing us further towards a 'European super league' saying that, I have said many time that I am bang up for a complete change to the League Cup. Make it a British cup, make the early rounds regional, the FA can cover some/all of teh costs of travel if over a certain mileage for lower league ...

Re: Rival Watch

St Andrews will be fun on 4th round day given Brum were drawn away to their tenants Coventry. They’ll get allocated the away end and therefore up to 20% of capacity. Think there should be rules in place guarding against this sort of thing, mainly for safety reasons. If you are in a position where y...

Is he the lad from Portsmouth? if so, thought we should've snapped him up at the time.

Re: FA Cup 19/20

I genuinely can't remember the last time I've actually been to an FA cup game. Always seem to have something on I can't get out of every time we have a home fixture, must be years since I've been. Should make this one though Manchester United - 19/12/2016 was my last FA Cup game. Last one at home w...
