Re: Stewards

A club which allows persistent standing (which is slightly different from a club which is unable to prevent it but does take reasonable steps to do so) will have their safety licence from the local authority withdrawn and thus be unable to operate - that's where the law is involved, rather than in ...

Re: Reading FC Drum and Bass

I think I have the one you're talking about URRRZZZ. It started as a singalong around a piano in Ipswich following the magnificent 7 debut game. Several years later, local producer Greenfly, some good musicians and myself got together to record it. Will try to upload as suggested. Greenfly is my co...

Re: Watford (A)

Watford is shit. The ground is shit, the town is shit, the pubs are generally awful and the walk to the ground is depressing. With the exception of pretending that the building opposite the away end is the set for Celebrity Squares ((c) Baker & Kelly), a visit to Watford has nothing to recommen...

i found that i would happily pay to watch him when he was at his worse made the football under rodgers a bit more enjoyable and hilarious Ever since seeing him come on as a sub at everton away, running as fast as he could and missing the shot rather then passing to Doyle, I knew he had the ability....

Re: The lamentable south east corner

What alot of hob nob didn't understand was that we grouped together in GU1 not because we thought it was the best place in the ground to have loud fans but because it was the only area which was predominately empty and therefore we would be able to see exactly how many fans wanted to be involved. An...

Re: The lamentable south east corner

I'll add my tuppence to this dicussion as its one that I feel very strongly about. Having sat in various locations of the East Stand since we moved to the new stadium twelve years ago - I must say that Y25/26 is definately the place to be for the singers. Having failed miserably with my Biscuit Boy...

Re: Standing at home games.

Has an incident ever happened with people standing in front of seats? if not then why can't it simply be a standing section in an all seater ground. You could still buy a 'seat' but just be warned that 'supporters may wish to stand in this section of the ground'. Use red seats or what ever.

Re: Coming Down the Road

I know suggestions have been made on here countless times about adopting a song but I think we could do a lot worse than 'Coming Down the road'. I know Liverpool have started to use it but I think we could really make this our own. The happy Clappers would be happy as there arent more than about fi...
