Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by Martin Hicks

Hound
P!ssed Off Match was lost by Bowen at half time.

Didn’t think the change made much of a difference to the balance at all tbh. Was a more open game but both sides had many more chances

My app makes it 7 Birmingham attempts after half time before we had our 1st.

Re: BFTG - Sheffield

I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion the keeper was shite. There is nothing Virginia could have done with the goals and he saved what he could. Could have saved the 1st goal. 2nd goal appeared straight at him. Looked like he was down slowly for the 3rd goal, and not his fault but he's too sh...

Re: BFTG - Sheffield

Keeper was shite unfortunately. Loader needs a rocket up his arse. Barrett was slightly better. We'll need to go to three at the back if Yiadom is expected to play RW. Guaranteed relegation unless a proper goalkeeper is signed by the end of the window.

Re: Jack Stacey

Antonio was shite for us. Constantly tripped over the ball and when he did have it under control the crowd were more in danger of getting on the end of his crosses than his team mates were. He needed to leave to develop. Just because he's gone on to have a fairly decent career in the Premier League...

Re: Jack Stacey

Are you suggesting that in 2012, Antonio warranted being picked in the Premiership ahead of McAnuff, McCleary, Robson-Kanu and Kebe? He chose to take a step back to the Championship, where he felt he couldn't get regular games, which incidentally was still a league above where he had played the bul...

Re: Jack Stacey

I saw someone on Twitter celebrating that we could now use our Stacey money to pay Oliviera's wages.
Accurately summed up why Reading find themselves in such a financial mess with no 1st team players.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

I don't think it's obvious that John Swift has developed more than Lewis Baker and Ruben Loftus-Cheek as a result of leaving Chelsea for regular game time. There is 17 months age difference between Ruben Loftus-Cheek, John Swift, Lewis Baker, Nathaniel Chalobah, Dele Alli and James Ward-Prowse. The...

Re: The Danny Loader conundrum

"Let's send him out on loan". What do you think Reading FC have to offer a young England youth player other than game time? We obviously promised him significant first team opportunities otherwise quite rightly he wouldn't have signed a professional contract here. This season he's scored 4...

Re: Gomes BBC Berks Interview

Hmmm, really don’t recall you criticizing Clement much at all? Anyway, one player change today. Last week Baker came on 60 mins for Richards, and this week he started instead of Richards. That’s it. The other 10 all started last week. Not sure I’d have played Rino at RB today myself, although he ha...

Re: CONFIMRED José Gomes

JG is bringing 4 backroom staff with him. So guess that means curtains for Gibbs, Beasant, Gilkes etc. unless they’re planning on over staffing in that area as well. I think this is the major worry, the core of the club is being eroded. The club is wrotten to the core and has been for a long time.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

For those that regularly watch the U21/3s, does Danny Loader stand out every game as being the best in the pitch for Reading? My guess would be that if he isn’t doing that then he isn’t going to make the first team any time soon. He's just won August's best player of the league ffs. And then scored...
