Re: BFTG Forest Home

Mr AR had a great game. Swift was superb. Their No. 6 is now wearing the Dolphins badge on account of successful dives.

Swansea in reverse. Great day.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

U23`s up to 2nd in the Premier league 2 div 2 table after today`s matches and their next game on Friday evening is away to the leaders Wolves KO 7pm https://www.flashscore.com/football/england/premier-league-2/standings/ Once again the Royals website completely ignores the fact that the U23`s have ...

Re: BFTG United (A)

Must say, watching the 21 year old Rinomhota make Rashford wish the latter had that extra gear some posters on here say Man Fu Ted weren’t using, by covering the inside of his run on goal, made sitting on a train for seven hours worthwhile. I understand AR has a soft spot for that lot in red pyjamas...

Re: BFTG - Swansea

Royality creeps In The only person who I thought came out with a smidgen of credit was Swift, and he made errors.

Only person to walk past and clap whoever remained in the East stand at FT, too. Though that pass of his into the middle of nowhere will still be with me in a few nightmares.

Is the next game really next Monday lunchtime, or has worldfootball.net got that a bit wrong? They are correct as it`s being played at Hogwood- several Premier league 2 matches are played on Monday`s at lunchtime at the clubs training grounds. Thanks & pity..I could have done with watching some...

Re: BFTG - Swansea

Bollocks. When did the last club our size go out of business? At absolute worst we might find ourselves in the conference briefly having had an administration or two. And there's no point not accepting it because it'll probably be bad if it's inevitable. That will only make it worse because we've i...

Re: BFTG - Swansea

First twenty minutes, I don’t think more than a couple of passes found a hooped shirt: Mostly straight at the opposition or so telegraphed that they obliged by picking up anyway. For them, from their end to ours seemed shorter than for us. Thank the lord for the subs, esp Harriott, otherwise watchin...

Bod, Baldock and Meite have 20 between them and have been injured half the time. Loader is a hot prospect Can’t just keep going out to try to find a striker on the cheap who will bang us 20 goals - we’ll just end up with more deadwood to shift Just need to get the 4 of them back into form and fitne...

How long did the ball spend in the air? Was everyone in red a foot taller than the Reading oppo?
Really thought that ball 3 ft out in the 94th was going to be the equaliser. Maybe we ought to wear green to get the rub of it.

Re: The Reading FC players who fans want to keep or sell in January transfer window

Nice to David Edwards putting himself in the shop window with a goal against Feyenoord in midweek. I heard a radio interview with him that practically said he wants to go to Shrewsbury now his old mate is the manager. They just need to get the money sorted and he's gone. It's that reason that I can...

0-1(pen)
Bit unlucky. Keeper looked very good, places kicks better than Jaakkola.
Our finishing was a bit soft, considering some great crosses.

Did Jaakkola gift them two or three corners? Two CEOs, three “Managers” later, and the go to answer is Aluko. What was the question? Only positive was to have Welsh Gunter playing for brief periods of the first half. But then hope was snuffed out, and in fact four Advent candles (unlit, to prevent m...

Wonder if they put us up in the stratosphere again, as last time. I’d bring binoculars, but no doubt they’d get confiscated as lethal weapons. At least Fellaini was easy enough to identify..

The usual scapegoating ^ Decent enough game from him today...but if you are ‘that way inclined’ probably not. Though Rinomhota was such a positive, truly only depressives would feel down after that. Also Stoke supporters did enough gesturing and library-book requests, so the 94th Minute was ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I love watching the opposition supporters positioning themselves directly in front of a steward.... Pathetic. Bristol City are up there with the worst away supporters we get, far worse than Millwall. Yeah. It's not the first time they've tried this. I remember the game in 2015/16 where Blackman nic...

Sitting in the Royal Suite Hospitality - anyone ever sat in there? What's it like? Only ever done 1871 one, was very impressed and will be doing it again this year for my uncle's 60th. Recommended. You get to meet an ex player, a current player, and MOM. Posh seats outside. Food ok. Not keen on win...
