Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by Billy Whitehurst

Not sure why anyone thinks we would be a better side without Ejaria- 1st on the team sheet for me !! I just think Ovie needs a bit of a break. He could be very dangerous if he comes in for the last twenty minutes or so.I struggle to see anything positive about Puskas. *Puscas I agree with the commen...

Re: Elm Park Years

Great memories. Anybody there when they shut the exit gates behind the South Bank on the way out to Tilehurst Road ?I think it was in the eighties.Would have been very dangerous,if someone had started pushing their way out.It was all very dignified however;Reading fans being very well behaved and po...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header part 2

Reminds me of the time when John Madejski, Uri(ne) Geller and The Welsh Windbag did their walk to Wembley. I went along to Slough in my Reading Shirt to support them along the route. The BBC Radio Berkshire Sports reporter at the time (can't remember his name, he was a Reading fan but I don't think...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by Billy Whitehurst

Competition for spaces will be extremely tight now. The last 30 minutes was such a good performance I’d generally play the exact same XI, with the exception of Osho and Walker Rafael Gunter Morrison Moore Blackett Rino Swift McCleary Aluko Richards Meite Walker Obita McIntyre Pele Ejaria New Winger...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header part 2

Just seen the highlights, looked like some “under fire” players, played really well. Bowen has a nice selection problem for Saturday. When Dim mentioned 9.30 pm being the last train out of Cardiff to Reading.I checked the train timetables. The next train after the game finished, went via Bristol.Chang...

Old Man Andrews The hype around the "Wayne Rooney Derby" is already annoying me and it hasn't even started yet.....

its going to be absolutely torturous. I'd rather do almost anything that sit and watch that game

Watching Man Utd,post Fergie is absolute torture.Jones,Lindelof and Lingard are hopeless.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header part 2

Have to be honest switched Dim off at two nil.
Two one bit of respectability, then looked on BBC ;two all, switched Dim on again.
That’s terrific,could really give us a lift.
Perhaps Macca and Alukho to start Saturday?

Delightful as ever Why are you piping up? You agree with him do you? He is on here frequently talking rubbish, he shouldn't not be called out on it same way I or you are. I don’t agree with him but everyone’s opinion is valid one way or another, doesn’t give you the authority to undermine what he’s...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (a) sponsored double header

Dilemma for Bowen. We can’t really go one up top with Baldock and Puscas not being able to play the role. We can’t really play 4-4-2 because that would mean Swift either not playing or out wide (have my doubts over his ability in a two) We can’t really play 5-3-2 because we don’t have the wingbacks...

Re: BFTG Bristol citeh.

Noticed Blackett getting stick for not tracking back for the City goal. Take a look at Sky highlights - I think it was Pele whop let Paterson get away by stopping his tracking run for some reason (He did have a very good game otherwise!) Yes up to the goal,I thought Pele was excellent;then his game...

Re: BFTG Bristol citeh.

I felt the game last night fell into different periods. After Puskas early shot from a Brizzie mistake ,was blocked; they were all over us for about ten minutes and I thought we are in real trouble here. Then for the rest of the first half Swift controlled the game,Pele backed him up and Olise settle...

Re: BFTG Bristol citeh.

We got around 6500 for Sheffield Utd and about 9000 v Bolton I think in the fag end of Stam’s management. The Sheff Utd game was the coldest I have ever been at a match. It was about -9c. Yeah this was horrific, thought I was going to die. Yeah, that was a really grim one. Remember a home game v Wa...

Re: FA Cup 19/20

Hmm,not a great draw.

Neither a glamour tie or lower league drop outs,we can easily get past.

On this seasons evidence Sheffield Utd will be very tough.

Re: BFTG - Forest v2

Gunter is an interesting one. I felt until the last two seasons he was always a six or seven type of player, but never an eight. These last two seasons his form fell of a cliff and Gomes rightly felt at the time, that he was finished. Then low and behold he has come back since Leeds and Yids injury,and...

I think we should go with the same team pretty much.
