Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (h)

Rarely make it easy for ourselves do we? the subs were poor, what is the point of defending with no outlet? surely NGW instead of baba agreed, we were devoid of anything and everything on the left in their half once Meite went off. Maybe at 2-0 up, the Baba introduction was made deliberately to mak...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (h)

These 5.15pm kick offs are weird. It felt so much later than just gone 7pm when the game finished. It was an excellent win against decent opposition and a very good atmosphere generated by both sets of fans. Lumley's best game for us imo. A great save from Piroe's header and unlucky it dropped to th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City (h)

Moore's never struck me as much of a talker... if he is it certainly didn’t help I'd have expected McIntyre to be pretty vocal, Hutchinson absolutely and given Holmes is vice captain isn't he, I'd expect that from him too. I appreciate Holmes and McIntyre are fairly young, but being young never sto...

Re: 2022/23 Best XI?

Personally, I am enjoying the formation Ince currently has and with everyone fit, I'd be playing: Lumley Hoilett Holmes Sarr McIntyre NGW Loum Fornah Hendrick Ince Joao Hutchinson instead of Hendrick. I would have Yids in for TMac too. Hutchinson was the one I struggled to leave out. Totally forgot...

Re: Rival Watch

Am kinda looking in both directions as the division is so tight. Just seen Hull and Blackpool play each other on Boxing Day. Coventry play WBA tomorrow, a win for either takes them above us. WBA are unsurprisingly climbing up to where their squad should have them now they’ve got Corberan in charge....

Re: Rival Watch

Swansea dominate possession against a team that dominated possession against us last week, come from 3-0 to claim a point, on sky on 27th, what could possibly go wrong? They haven't won for seven games and have exactly the same number of points as us. So we need to target the win but we won't see m...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a)

I think Yiadom is suffering a little from age and a fair amount from team shape. Give him a simple RB job to do, and he's perfectly decent. He has only just turned 31! He has never been a wing back because he can't cross. I may have mentioned this before 8) but yes agree he is fine as a right back....

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a)

Ince and Joao are our joint leading goalscorers on just four goals apiece at the halfway stage I think that says something. We just don't have a real way of attacking. We rely on set pieces and something magic on a breakneck break. We're in the bottom 4 for shots per game. Bottom two for key passes...

I feel the game should be abandoned.
