Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Season tickets renewed. Painless. Phones answered within a couple of minutes too. Email came through a few minutes later.

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Jagermesiter1871 I clicked linked accounts and it doesn't offer me any option to add my previous account - anyone having this issue? What a state.

On a phone it didn’t let me. On the laptop it did.

Re: Financial Fair Play

I do feel the Chinese have good intentions here, but I can’t but fear we are so close to doing a Bolton, Portsmouth... We no longer own our stadium, land around the stadium, the hotel. Do we own Hogwood? Just feel like we’re a ticking time bomb. Ticking time bomb? Calm down to a panic m9. Also, see...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Linking to other people seems to be a problem, they need an account first which isn't what was advertised Yep, so to “conveniently add my other family members” I need to set an account per head, even though my son isn’t about to buy anything soon. Different. But hey, ludicrously cheap STs make up f...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

CountryRoyal Anyone having any trouble with mobile compatibility? Everything works great on laptop and can see the new ticket areas etc but on my phone clicking either “News” or “Tickets” elicits no response.

Yeah. Switched to laptop in the end and now all done, including adding fam and friends.

Re: Safe standing progress

I see Wolves are now installing Rail seating, believe Spurs have it in their new stadium, what chances of us bringing it in for the South stand as an experiment? Bugger all, the rake of the stadium is supposedly not compatible without some fairly heavy duty renovation iirc. The club is supposedly o...

Re: Rumour - Danny Loader

Don’t really want to lose the lad, but we have to be realistic and if we get £7m plus then we have to take it. We’re in a rebuilding phase and if we are trying to raise money to keep Oliveira then players have to go, and that most likely means ones we’d rather not lose. IMO it’s more important we do...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

I seemed to get lucky, although it was misleading in linking to my member card number. For some reason it was asking me to re-enter ‘Mr’ and Save, before going to the screen to enter my member no. I haven’t tried to navigate the site yet. I’ll look at it on the laptop tomorrow as it’ll be clearer th...

Nice, you really cant fault the club for the communications recently. Top draw.

Things have improved a lot with the new guy who’s recently come in. Not sure of his name, but good work, thank you!

Not particularly enthralled at the return to the Premier League of Derby, Leeds or Villa, but it would be Villa as the lesser of three evils. Keeping Leeds in the second tier is entertainment in itself, every single year.

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

Hmm, do I pay £375 to renew in the Lower West of save £76 and join club 1871 for £299? Not sure the family/Eamon Dolan stand should be more than the Club 1871 area, Isn't the view is about the same but the opposite end? If you do switch, I hope you’re going to contribute to the noise and not just s...

Re: Rumour - Coniah Boyce-Clarke

Very surprised by the change of heart to stay but fantastic for the club. He might only be 16, but to be involved with the U23’s already says a lot. He could well break into the first-team before he’s 18. Good luck to him!

Speculation: Ruben Lameiras

Portuguese 24 y/o attacking midfielder. Can play on either flank as well. Very highly rated, available on a free after leaving Plymouth, and a host of Championship clubs said to be interested. With Jose and our Portuguese connection, I’d be surprised if we aren’t one of the lads admirers. We just ne...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

As a Dolan ender, the change has been marked. Never used to hear a peep out of the East Stand (probs acoustics), but now there is some decent atmosphere being gener8d in the South it's even encouraging noise at the other end. I think part of that is acoustics, I sit in the Lower West near the away ...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

You’ll get away with a kids ticket for the most part, and when caught you can blag it by saying you’ve brought your sons by mistake, but you’re only hurting the football club in doing so, and at a time when they need our investment the most. So don’t be a tight arse and buy the season ticket that re...
