Re: BFTG - Barnsley home

As a result I don't think we will make playoffs You must be mad, there's no way we can throw away a gap THAT big. Yeah some tricky games coming up but IIRC our run in is easy as piss on paper; we must be there now having been here pretty much all season. Nice one dickhead. Deffo not going to make t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h) sponsored by dour northern battles

First half was pretty dull to be honest. Couldn't get the wingers in the game and Kelly and Williams were poor Second half was much more entertaining. Could have gone either way. Didn't think either was a pen. Thought Stam should have made the subs a lot earlier - slightly frustrating when you have...

Re: BFTG - Barnsley home

Meh. Not amazing but not a loss. Cold. Williams has little to offer and we lacked outright creativity Swift. Why was Grabban in midfield? And where was Mutch? Overall I'll take a clean sheet against IIRC the third best attack in the league but we've got to put on a show of some sort against Brentfor...

Re: Team for Barnsley...

Al Habsi Gunter Oxford Moore Blackett Obita Mutch Evans Kelly Kermorgant Grabban Seems fine but I have a feeling Stam will bench Oxford and move Gunter into CB put McCleary on RWB, as well as putting Williams in mid over Evans (which im not a big fan of personally). Also kind of feel sorry for Roy a...

Re: Contracts

Don't rate Williams at all, the guy is just not a good footballer, slows down all our plays, gives us nothing in midfield whilst we have quality players like Evans stuck on the bench behind him every week. Praying he finally gets the move him and his agent have been asking for on Instagram +1, glad...

Barnsley (H) predictions

Tricky enough game, although they've lost key players recently and we've already beat them. I'll go for 2-1, Grabban to grab (pun not intended) a brace on his home debut.

Re: Ipswich (A)

2-1, Beerens and Williams. Tom Lawrence for them.

EDIT: Apparently Lawrence is doubtful because of an ankle injury. In that case, 2-0.

Re: Rival Watch

Just remembered that Brighton away and Huddersfield away in the same week now. Needless to say, absolutely huge week, let alone Newcastle a few days later IIRC. Then our last couple of games this season I believe are Forest Wigan Rotherham and Burton. Provided we pick up sufficient points in the com...

Happy with that. Prefer to close the gap on the top 2 rather than 4th. NSC should be up in flames by now

Jaakola
Gunter McShane Cooper/Campi/Danzell Obita
Quinn Swift VDB
Rakels Mendes Beerens

Unsure on the CB because I haven't seen Danzell or Campi yet and may I just say Norwood and Williams should be worried

Re: The generic transfer thread

Ritchie and Gayle cost £25m combined! So much for financial fair play When they have 0000000000's coming in from Parachute Payments, £13.5m coming in for Andros Townsend, and the £25m is being spread over the life of the contract, it's actually very much within the laws of FFP. Having an average at...

No point, we need to improve Bond and Al-Habsi is player of the season. We don't need a third choice, we have Moore, and bare in mind McGovern is 31 and played for HAMILTON.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

They never say anything about it though, if they wanted us to be excited they'd introduce some sort of hype culture. Although TBF the lack of information and the speculation is always fairly exciting. But if they start selling the kit earlier they'll sell more, and it'll last longer.
