Re: Most boring debates on the team board?

The boring posts are the ones where some simpleton goes onto a thread they consider boring, then posts a message to say it is boring.

If they are so easily bored perhaps they could post something exciting.

Or feck off.

Perhaps we should have bought the Nothampton goalie. He was brilliant.

Team photo

Has anyone seen a team photo this season?

If there has not been one, could its absence be connected to the fact we may no longer have a team?

Re: demonstration

Then he should sell the club, he will never get as much as he wants for it and the longer he stays and sells our best prospects he will end up losing more money. Sell up, move on..... Quite right. We sold the Premiership squad to rely on youth but now we are selling the best of them so it's rather ...

Re: demonstration

The chairman is selling all of his cars, at least one hotel (Copthorne) and despite what people say, he is desperate to sell Station hill.

Seems he needs money and selling players is an easy way to get it.

I guess this is payback time. Our chairman isn't as rich as he used to be.

Sir Dodger

I gather you might be out of work yourself soon so don't go upsetting your more successful peers.

Season ticket sales

Apologies if someone has already done this but I have yet to hear how many season tickets were sold this season.

Does anyone know?

Re: The bloke in the next seat

Blimey. This is the sort of thing I always feared by getting a season ticket in the Eaststand.

ie: You can't choose your neighbours.

Most of them near me, are very quiet, but now I feel grateful for that.

Re: goal music

I always liked goal music but whatever that noise was today, it's put me off the whole idea.

Scrap the whole idea please and then sack whoever chose it so we can save the money.

Re: New Song for when Swansea Come to Town

It'll make a change for the south east corner to actually try to make a noise. So their sole contribution - instead of supporting Reading - will be to boo Rodgers because he didn't do very well. Swansea fans will pee themselves yet again at our dumbfukk 'supporters'. Maybe if the Swansea fans got an...

Re: Reading season-ticket prices set to be slashed

This is the first time I have known the club do something substantial for the supporters. I back it all the way. What a strange comment ! I suspect I'd rate winning theleague with 106 points, 2 seasons in the Prem, great cup games against Liverpool, Burnely, Villa, Man Utd etc, 6-0 against West Ham...

This is surely one occasion when wingeing tossers ought to shut up moaning about the club for once.

Scott Carson

A north stand fan tells me Scott Carson turned to the Reading fans to celebrate their goal as some kind of rather aggresive wind up routine. Sadly the ones he was directing it at were the little kids who did the shoot out at half time. I didn't see a thing from the East stand. Did anyone else see it?

Re: No more music after goals please

I was talking to a real militant supporter last week, who reckon that music after goal is just another way that the football authorities are trying to impose control onto football crowds and to sanitise and gentrify them. In the old days, when a goal was scored that's when there was the most celebr...

Re: Credit to Madejski and Hammond

This is a great thread. The volatile idiots who wanted everyone at the club hanged just a few weeks ago, are now praising the very same people. And the ones who just want to be angry are still ranting and resenting our failure to dominate Europe. If we were relegated we would at least get rid of all...

Online ticketing nonsense

The current online ticketing system looks great now that they have improved it. But it's a con. You can choose your own seat which seems brilliant. But I once knew someone who sells this kind of software and apparently it's all a deliberate hoax. They simply don't show you all the tickets that are r...

Re: The lamentable south east corner

Nevertheless, it was a great thing that you made the effort. Maybe it could happen again some time. I don't know how many seats are up there but if that block was full with fans singing it could be really noisy. Mind you it would probably put the wind up the people in that posh bar below. Maybe that...
