Re: Rival Watch

There is absolutely no way they would share with Watford. Are they big rivals? Literally had no idea. Oh yes. Obviously they've not met each other too often over the past 25 years but they really don't like each other. Yep, mate of mine is a Watford STH and they hate Luton with a passion (see Burnl...

genome Oh come on, we all know it's you

Impossible. I haven't said anything that has given away who I am, or if I am or am not "DD".

I think the use of the word "craft" in reference to Honest Burger in a recent post may just have given the game away.

Re: Dodgy agents, dodgy deals, the sorry tale continues

An obvious conclusion to draw from that article is that Reading FC is potentially being used as a money laundering vehicle by a number of inter-connected individuals. I wouldn't wish those parasites on any club; the fact it is happening to our club is heartbreaking. Agreed, a little piece of me die...

Re: Paul Ince Managerial Fact File

As a man I think he has a lot of the qualities we will need going forward, especially for a relegation struggle. As a coach I worry he has been away too long, had he been active over the past 5 years then I'd have no complaints. I worry that Tom Ince has got in to someone's ear and let them know th...

Dodgy agents, dodgy deals, the sorry tale continues

Just came across this article which makes for depressing reading if even parts of it are true

Re: ARE WE GOING BUST?

Could easily turn to the stadium in to an expanded Reading gate retail park. Maybe a DFS and a good size B&M. Also could add a Taco Bell drive thru. oxf*rd it - go on then. Dai only owns the stadium and the footprint it sits on. And the hotel which isn’t owned by dai is attached to it. The surr...

Prior to kick off Sunderland had a +8 goal difference over Oxford, when the games finished it was -3

Re: Do fans have to take action ASAP?

This season? In the lap of the Gods. The club is toxic. Matters have never been under the fans’ control, no matter what we may think. To them it’s all about owning prime real estate, trading million pounds worth of human athletes and making a profit. Ticket sales are almost nothing in real terms. I...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Kidderminster Harriers (a)

My preference is management stability, but Pauno is SO WAY WAY out of his depth. If he was man enough, he would resign. Sadly he won't and we will have to pay him off. Hard to think of a worst manager in recent times for us. Can't wait for him to leave. So out of his depth it is frightening. Please...

What’s the betting we see a “one rule for the rich” situation? Man Utd game is off with no disclosure of how many first team players actually have COVID whereas we will be expected to field a team of kids.

Re: The Non - League thread

Had to chuckle at this bit of non league news.

15 minutes into the FA Trophy tie between Curzon Ashton and Chester FC there was a tannoy announcement about a car causing an obstruction. The referee then called a temporary halt to proceedings while he went to move his car :D

Re: Do you sometimes think you`ve had enough.

Been supporting for over 50 years and have seen some rank bad players in that time but there weren’t many that I thought really don’t give a flying one. No longer the case, they are going to get their x grand a week whether they perform or not in the knowledge that their will be another mug club off...

Re: Points Deduction Incoming!

Not quite sure of the veracity of the information but read an article recently which had details of premier players on less than £10k per week. Some staggeringly low figures e.g. Pukki £8k Curtis Jones £4K Both Longstaffs at Newcastle are on less than a grand a week  So, there may be decent p...

Re: BFTG - Barnsley

Actually, I just checked WhoScored and TDB created two chances and did more defensive work than I had appreciated, fair play. Dann, though, made ten clearances, one tackle and one block, while Rahman made five tackles, three interceptions and one block. Incredible effort from both of them. Should h...

Re: BFTG - Boro Home

I don’t understand why Puscas isn’t playing, in his last start he played really well and got an excellent assist. He has to be carrying an injury, because otherwise it's absolutely crazy. But if he's carrying an injury it's crazy to have him on the bench and use him in both games. It's just crazy. ...
