Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (h)

This is definitely winnable, I wasn't hugely impressed with them against Bristol last week and their defence is suspect on set plays, and Frank admitted on Sat it was no way a 4-1 game, and as said when we played them before Christmas we had 12 out I believe. Play like we did against Bournemouth and...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Sounds like the powers that be at BBC Berks are cutting costs again & not letting Dellor & Gooding travel to Stoke on the pretext that it's Covid related. Funny how reporters can travel to report on other events around the country. Are J Low and M Joy at the game or are they writing their r...

Re: Rival Watch

The way I see it now is that autos will be a tough ask unless we win on Wed. Play offs looking better by the week though....mid table form from now (say 7-6-6) will get us to 75 points and anyone outside the current top six would need 2 points a game (auto promotion form) to better that...not going ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (a)

We need to work out sides like this as we've got Colin and Rotherham this month who both play in a similar way. We'll do better on Wed as Brentford will play football and they are scorable against. Going to be difficult though even more so after their result today and without Dasilva and Mbuemo star...

Re: Rival Watch

Agree - take the 0-0; thought with them having 2 easyish games before we played again they might have pulled away from us so good start to the day.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (a)

This is the sort of game we need to win if we are serious re autos, but for a play off side a draw would be acceptable.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (a)

Ejaria works his nuts off and does the defensive side of his duties well. He also wins loads of free-kicks which often alleviate the pressure inside our own half He does dwell on the ball at times and could weigh in with a few more goals but that will come. He is a terrific player for us. Agree - o...

Re: Rival Watch

Always impossible to know what might have been, as much as it is knowing what might be however I do think if we had gone up under stam it could have been a very torrid season ending in relegation. At times this season, esp first half vs Bournemouth I do get a little bit of an 05/06 season feeling, ...

Didn't know anything about him. I see he was Chelsea's first black player and it was as late as 1981!?? 9 years after Alleyne    Hope he pulls through, get well soon Paul! Played for us 1986-88 during the two second tier seasons under Ian Branfoot. cost around £60,000 I believe...

What I don't get with FFP is how a club (Derby) can be allowed to sign several players on loan when they can't pay their existing players on time.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (a)

I'd defs play Meite for Olise for this one. I saw some of their game at the weekend and they are very direct and physical and Meite's extra physical presence will help. They also extensively time wasted with players regularly feigning injury as soon as they went down to 10 men to hold on to the draw...

morganb Watford ahead, Deeney penalty.

Watford have had a lot of penalties recently - they also scored penalties against Barnsley and Stoke

1-1 QPR deservedly level. Not impressed with Watford at all
