Re: Predictions For Norwich

Carl Cort's registration from the Spanish FA has not yet come through. Apart from the fact he hasn't played any football apart from Spanish second division for two years, that leaves Norwich with one striker, Arturo Lupoli, who is also out of favour. On that basis I can't see them scoring more than ...

Re: Predictions For Norwich

skipper Norwich are a team who can beat any one on their day (Wolves away 5 3 or summin') the just dont get their day very often.

It was 5-2 at home and a certain L. Lita scored a hat-trick. Not playing on Saturday of course.

Re: Which of the three youngsters has been most impressive?

rabidbee I can't decide between Pearce - who has always impressed me - and Karacan - who I think is this season's revelation.

The bench is no place for a revelation of course.

Re: Which of the three youngsters has been most impressive?

I don't think any of them are currently up to the standard we are playing, and more importantly, Coppell doesn't either or else they would be playing.

That's not to say they couldn't improve, but at the moment I'd say. Pearce, Div One standard, Karacan, Dive One standard, Henry, probably Div One/two.

Re: Team for Norwich

The Norwich team is going to be interesting on Saturday. They don't possess a single contracted striker with first team experience with the exception of Cureton, who is on loan at Barnsley. Lita can't play of course, which leaves them a choice between Arturo Lupoli, on loan, not first choice striker...

Re: Lita for Norwich

I reckon we should have Lita back around Christmas Eve. That way he will probably have scored a few more goals and it would be wise not to let him play too many games over Christmas as he may get injured. Also, he'll be able to open his presents at home and roast his chestnuts over an open fire. Als...

Re: Lita for Norwich

Lita was excellent in the Old Farm derby today. If it was me I would leave him at Norwich until just before Christmas. He's in the shop window.

Then I'd call him back, as we are entitled to, on Chrismas Eve, then flog him to the highest bidder in January. He can't play against us.

Re: Lita staying at Norwich

No way should we sell Lita for 500k. Surely we could get more than that for him. Also, Norwich haven't got a pot to piss in so he won't be going there. Not when he's off on a free transfer in the summer we wont. 500k is superb business. If you reckon 500k is good business for a player who cost us m...

Royal Rother "He changed his name when his stepfather, a Polish airman during World War II, returned to Britain to marry his mother."

But if he was orignally John Hurst then he didn't take his late father's surname later.

If the billionaires English I don't mind. I like that our club is owned by an Englishman. But not sure if I believe it. Oh well. It is just a rumour or gossip. Madejski is Polish. The clue is in the name I think. That is poor form, Norfers. Originally Robert John Hurst , but took his late fathers s...
