Re: Rival Watch

Almost, but not quite! They’ve actually only lost 2 that matter with Parky in charge. 1 at high flying Wycombe in his very first game and the other at a useful Shrewsbury a week later following a 5-0 win over Tranmere. The other defeats were actually a draw in the league cup (lost in penalties) and...

Re: Ex Players

Royals and Racers Saeid Ezatolahi now on loan at Belgian club Eupen(from Rostov), can`t seem to get a game. Only 23 and a decent player when fit.

Reminded me of Leigertwood a bit. Good player off the ball but wasn't the greatest in possession. Would have suited a McDermott team I think

Re: Ex Players

Baker seems to have had two successful loan spells so far, here and at Vitesse. Anyone know what formation Vitesse played whilst he was playing for them?

Re: Richards Obita or Blackett ?

As a LB probably : Blackett > Richards > Obita As a LWB probably : Obita > Richards > Blackett But it’s all pretty close, none are good enough to stand out from the others, none are bad enough to lag behind This time a year ago, I’d completely written Richards off however, so the transformation in h...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

The best one you have forgotten- Gylfi Sigurdsson Not forgotten, just considered him in an earlier wave, with HRK, Karacan, Pearce, Cox... etc. McCarthy and Hamer should be in with that lot too. Would add Andresson, Smith and Novakovich to that list too. Not sure what happened with Andresson, I tho...

Re: BFTG - Luton

Maybe it's having Ejaria there that's spurred Swift on? Maybe it's just because the new manager has given him belief and freedom to play the way he is playing. just having ejaria there means theres always an option who can recieve the ball and keep it under pressure. that makes swift less desperate...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

Made me laugh when he has one of his total meltdowns, slagging players off left, right and centre, but never tags them in. But having said that, if he is blocked, then that is probably why. He is a complete Jizz stain. He blocked me previously because I argued with him and he couldn't handle it. Th...

Re: Swift's new role

He should be involved with the u21s but never seems to be called up so I presume England must be terrifically well off for players in his role. He plays in the same position as Phil Foden and Joe Willock, so safe to say you’re right. Joe Willock is some player. Which one of the Willocks did we have...

Re: Rival Watch

Colin gone from Cardiff Neil Warnock: Manager leaves Cardiff City - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50380702 Had to go really. He was going to leave at the end of the season anyway and their squad is too good to go down I think so they may as well give the new manager more time. Although the ea...

Re: Rival Watch

think sustainable is a good word for our current form. Found one of the most interesting comments from Moore about the previous set up as 'having to be absolutely on top of their game to get the win' or something similar. It feels we can play averagely but still get the 3 points comfortably with th...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

One other thing-Sterling. In recent days there has been talk of him going to Real Madrid, earning something like £500,000 per week and now being almost up there with Messi and Ronaldo in ability. Really? I know yesterday was a difficult game for him but considering he had a lot of the ball, especia...

Re: England - the future....

I think Grealish can find himself a tad unlucky not to be in the squad, he’s had a pretty good season so far I can see where you're coming from, but as Southgate said, he's competing against some very good players for a place in the squad. I think Stones and Gomez are probably a bit fortunate to be...

Re: England - the future....

I think Grealish can find himself a tad unlucky not to be in the squad, he’s had a pretty good season so far He isn't an international player, certainly not the right sort for England anyway. Should have stuck with Ireland, he'd be playing all the time. I’m not sure. I think he’s a better player th...

Re: Rival Watch

Barnsley are done I think. Not won since the opening day and bar the odd late equaliser it's a surprise when they pick up even a point. Boro look in trouble and then a toss up between Wigan, Luton, Stoke and Blackburn. We can't be discounted but this uptick in form feels sustainable. Stoke will lik...

Thinking about penalties, when was the last time we actually scored a penalty? Surely it’s not Millwall (H) in October 2018?

Feels like we never ever get a penalty nowadays

Re: Swift's new role

Seems like the latter to me. However Swift is free to roam so it ends up looking like: Rinomhota ----Swift ----Ejaira Hence the confusion. Yeah, probably is, I can never tell. For some reason, I’m not sure if this is just me, but all the midfielders generally seem to drift over to the left more tha...

Can’t make my mind up about the City penalty decision today for the handball. I’d have thought it was the right decision because it touched Silva’s hand first irrespective of intention but I’m not sure if that only applies to goals or penalties too

I can see Meite going in January at this rate. He hasn’t looked anywhere near as happy as last season and I think a big reason is Barrow leaving
