Re: Stadium screens

Getting a sharper screen should be a new year resolution for the club

26th January 2010 - Close comparison to current season

26th January 2010 - Sheffield United 3-0 Reading Here's the match report which also incorporates the league table after the game: http://www.royals.org/matdoc/260110.html 23 points from 26 games, 23rd in the table and a new manager trying to find the right combination. We won the next game, won 9 of...

PistolPete If you didn’t like Stam... bad news; if you didn’t like Stam...stay away! (Good riddance to you)
!

I didn't like Stam and if the style of play is anything like it was under Stam I will be staying away. Another 20 year + season ticket holder no longer attending, to add to the list

Re: Madejski Out

SJM is clearly the greatest thing that has ever happened to the club and it has been on a downward spiral ever since he sold up. If there is once criticism you could make of him it was that, at the time, he kept stressing he would only sell to someone who understood and would continue with the Readi...

Re: BFTG - Aston Villa (A)

As I don't go to many away games these days, I thought I would indulge myself in a BFTG post. Maybe my expectations are lower than most but I am surprised to see so much criticism of the performance. We've won, what, 3-4 games in 2018, are clearly in a rut and are playing probably one of the most di...

Re: Auf Wiedersehen £170m

Neither of our promotions in the past seem to have improved the club's financial position longer term, indeed, the second one seems to have nearly bankrupted it.

Unless you can go up and stay it, the club itself seems to make sod all, the players/agents etc more so

Re: BFTG - Wembley

Credit to the players for a season that exceeded all expectations but today was a game too far and our performance was absolutely abject. Pretty disappointing to get to Wembley and not really try to win the game, particularly as the opposition were nearly equally as poor. Surely one of the worst gam...

Current Form Vs Odds

Last twelve games Huddersfield W - 3 D - 3 L - 6 Reading W - 8 D - 1 L - 3 Yet Huddersfield are strong favourites to win this game. I appreciate they qualified for the play offs before us and stepped off the gas a bit but I saw nothing in the games against Sheffield Wednesday that suggested they can...

Re: How are you getting to Wembley?

or drive to the new Oxford Parkway station and get a train direct to Marylebone (passing through Wembley Station on the way) That's a possibility, thanks, i'll look in to that What about South West trains? Drive to somewhere like Andover? Before you dismiss it out of hand, just consider the Jubilee...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Presume they are selling in stages as when I tried to get a couple in Category 5 for a friend they were shown as none available, but after a chat I went back in 10 minutes later and there were a couple of blocks with Category 5 tickets so may be worth trying this if you're brave, (I can't believe we...

Re: Pub for the play off away semi?

Arghhhh FFS - that's annoying as usually I can get from Bracknell -> Putney in around 45 minutes, really easy. I wonder if it's something they can change - if so they may well move things around given that thousands of people will be passing through Looking at South West Trains website, I don't thi...
