Re: Is Clarke forced to play HRK?

I detest having to watch him play for my club and take home £1m per year. He's an utterly appalling footballer and I desperately hope somebody can be fooled into buying him.

Re: BFTG - Brum

What was the point of the loan players playing, how does that benefit the club at all now, ahead of giving our younger players more opportunity?

Re: What is the point in HRK

I would be absolutely delighted to see him leave and would have no concern at all about him performing well against us in the future, as he's demonstrated repeatedly that he can't make any impact against teams even worse than us. I resent the fact that I pay to watch him steal £1m per year from my c...

Re: What is the point in HRK

There's a significant difference between a scapegoat and somebody who is genuinely appalling at their job.

Re: Chris Gunter

I've never seen Gunter have a good game for us, the biggest hoofer in the team, and he's been responsible for dozens of mistakes leading to goals in his time with us.

PieEater Gunter also shameful for a dive in a lame attempt to get a pen.

+1. I booed him thereafter just to add some consistency, as many fans would boo an opponent for diving.

Re: Steve Clarke

Far too little whelm.

A very dull man with a very dull football style.

I wanted either somebody with a Reading connection, or somebody known as playing fast, exciting football. Clarke is as far from those things as possible.

Re: RUMOUR: Sean Morrison to Cardiff

An average championship centre back. Basically a more likeable Matt Mills. I'll enjoy watching his bad decisions and regular easy attacking headers missed when he plays for another team.

Re: It's a generational thing

My great granddad was from Reading, but having died well before I was born I have no idea if he was interested in football. My granddad supported Reading I believe, but I’m not sure how often, if ever, he attended games. My other granddad moved to the area during the war and became a Reading fan. He...

Re: Wayne Bridge announces retirement

Exactly. He knew he was a crock & could have retired months ago & saved us a bit of cash but no he still took the money like he has done for pretty much the last decade of his career. Agreed. Given the choice of being paid hundreds of thousands of pounds that was contractually owed to me, o...

Re: Blessing in Disguise

I go to games to see my team win, which will inevitably happen more now next season than had we fluked promotion. Therefore I'm happy. I'll also get to see more games for less money.
