Re: Sheff U (a) match thread - The Dane Whitehouse Experience

All a bit nasty and unnecessary that

Still, the bit that guts me out about our recent slide into mediocrity is losing the guaranteed 6 points from the Blades.

Re: Pub football (watching of it)

It was never a loophole as such as the EU has always been upfront about the free provision of service within its borders. As such, it has been Sky bending the rules However, this ruling could be very bad as it means that forgeign media organisations will be able to bid for exclusive rights to any le...

Re: QPR - Back from watching on TV

Absolutely - we should have been getting the ball out quick from the full backs and really stretching them down the wings - where we can hurt teams. Mcanuff was really going at them 1st half. But no, 2nd half we bang it long. Honestly I'm struggling to understand the lack of intelligence. I really ...

Re: Back from the Game - Hull (H)

Manset seems to be the only human being that can jump in the air for a header, and somehow end up with his head lower to the ground than if he just stood still! I can see at least a year of heavy training before he's ready Peter Crouch is the same - and it's a tendancy with tall players. As they to...

Re: Safe-standing areas - TIME FOR ACTION

While a section of footballs fan base favours limited safe-standing what incentives are there for Clubs and government to agree? The government of the day might benefit slightly from the goodwill of fans happy with a move to safe standing. However balanced against the risk of any injuries of fatali...

whilst its nice that we are a family club and all that etc etc. I shouted the F work ONCE yesterday and the man in front told me not to swear in front of his child. it was like being told off at school! I would also like to point out that this was directed at Kanu and his selfishness when we were a...

Did naff all when he came on and wasting that box-to-box break (when Leigertwood was with him the whole way) was just plain criminal and could have cost us dearly

2-0 Swansea

However, can't really be doing with the spanking off over Swansea's football tbh. Yes, very good technical footy that the likes of Sepp Blatter just loves. However, I've actually found then fairly dull most times i've seen them

Re: Mikele Leigertwood

imho we have GOT to keep this guy. I was really dubious about getting him when it was goals we were seeming to struggle with, but after a great game at Derby, I thought he was excellent today. The amount of breaking-up and ball-winning he does is phenomenal and it's giving confidence to the rest of ...

Re: Back from the game- Coventry

Thought Leigetwood was pretty tidy today as a defensive midfielder. Unfortunately his lack of attacking intent cost us more than a few times. He found himself in good positions going forward but never tried to do anything other than offload safely, when it was crying for a slot-through to a winger/s...
