Would you...

I went to Brentford tonight (brother in law had a spare ticket) to watch Colin's robots bully them out of the 3 points. Afterwards I asked him whether he'd welcome Colin ad manager if it meant they'd get promotion. His take was it would be worth it but they side would have to be rebuilt ad it would ...

Re: Message to Tim Dellor and Konathon Low

Did anyone hear Dellor having a near break down last night calling Aluko a disgrace? Aluko is his new Vydra, albeit much more deservedly. He lost it. He was an inch away from losing control there. Who could blame him, Aluko is as dislikeable as his sister. What have either of them done to justify t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Tin hats on Mannone? Gunter? (not) Moore? admittedly, P.O.T.S is going to be a real bollock scratcher this season Mannone hasn’t been great, I keep seeing people say “Mannone should have done better” after we concede, not that he’s been terrible, but average Gunter has been a huge improvement and I...

Re: Mentor for Stam/Turnaround consultant

Never going to happen. A new coach, maybe. But bringing in someone like you describe undercuts Stam's authority, sends mixed messages and clouds the leadership at the club. We've seen a few clubs bring in director's of football to 'help' the managers in their role (different to the normal dof role)...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

Its a shame this thread is not left to those who actually went. I read it for a hands on view but it seems to have been taken over be those that weren't there. The people who went are more positive than the people who didn't. The first half, we were proper decent, I tell no lie. Fuel for optimism. ...

Re: BFTG Burton

Are any of these comments on the foul based on anyone actually seeing the incident, either live or on replays? I ask because, if there's some footage of it, I would like to see it myself as it was at the other end and I was following the line of the ball. All I saw was the forward, who was nowhere ...

Re: BFTG Burton

Exactly why Edwards was MOM last night. He was superb at doing the simple, but important, things very well. Like giving away a penalty. No farting about just a straight forward foul itn the box. It was a very soft pen and it didn’t diminish his performance at all. Are any of these comments on the f...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

U23`s 0-0 against Wolves tonight- not the greatest of games with both sides cancelling each other out. good to see Watson and Rinomhota get 45 minutes each. Hopefully that was the plan, for Watson at least as he got a knock which seemed to affect him for the rest of the half. There was some neat pl...

Re: Record Watch 2017/18

IMHO wearing a replica shirt (if not at all) over a long sleeved t shirt is the epitome of twatishness, but is the omelette on the left actually wearing it over a checkered shirt? I feel we have stumbled across their biggest cockgobbling horrendacunt yet. Top, top quality posting there. Bravo sir. ...

Re: Low away attendances

Under 100 Wigan away 1990 stood behind the goal on a grass bank god we think were bad now. Was that the 1-1 game where we had to wear Wigan's away kit as we forgot ours? Or was that later on. Jamie Lambert scored I think? Interesting what tricks the mind plays because my recollection is that Wigan ...

Re: Time to think outside the box

I like the idea of 3-5-2 as Denver has suggested (beat me to it) as I think it suits our defence better. The only problem then is shoehorning in our midfield options ------------------Mannone---------------------- -----Ilori---------Moore-------Blackett------- Gunter----Evans----Swift---Bacuna----Ba...

Denver Royal ------------------Mannone----------------------

-----Ilori---------Moore-------Blackett-------

Gunter----JVB----Swift---Bacuna----Evans

-----Dadi---------Yann---------------

That but Evans move to the middle instead of JVB and Barrow on the left

Re: Low away attendances

I remember us playing Orient in the Freight Rover Trophy at Elm Park back in the 80's. Can't remember the exact attendance but it was in the 900s Lowest home crowd for a FRT game was 1151 v Northampton in 91/92. We played in the football league trophy v Bournemouth, in front of 1136, in a group sta...

If we're really looking for something outside the box (or left field) then what about signing Joe 90 with the Lionel Messi brain scan upload

Re: Low away attendances

I remember going to Huddersfield away in the early 90's and there were literally a handful of us there. So much so that it was raining heavily during the match and they let us all into the covered stand were the Huddersfield fans were. To top it off I'm pretty sure the game was goalless!! Was that ...

Re: Low away attendances

For me it was at Huddersfield and remember David Leworthy playing so sometime around 1990.

From memory there were only about 20-30 in the away end for an evening game. We were singing throughout the game, if only to keep warm.

and again down to form/confidence. Were they in form the pass from Kelly to JDB would've been good enough for him to hit 1st time rather than reaching for it and having to move it on

Re: BFTG Brentford

Take a point off Barrow for being responsible for their goal. was crying out for a first time strike at the back post instead of farting around and getting blocked out. 20 seconds later we were behind. are you seriously blaming us conceding on a player miscontrolling the ball in the opposit...

Theroyalbox ...I want to go to Oldham

Don't, or if you do wear plenty of layers. It's always, and I do mean ALWAYS, cold there.
