Platypuss I now feel that the objectives set in January 1998 for me as Sales & Marketing Manager have been achieved.
By his own words it took him 7 years and 8 months.

I wonder what those objectives were and whether objectives set in the subsequent years were met?

Our squad is small, therefore players get more time with the physio's, fitness, diet and medical experts.

Do you have ambitions to oneday take over from Steve Coppell? Would you consider joining a lesser team such as West Ham or Chelsea? Which former players, apart from yourself, do you think could force their way into today's starting lineup if they were at their Reading best? (Don't feel you have to s...

Definately something that deserves to be a regular feature, I wouldn't be surprised if it was copied and pasted onto Blackburn messageboards and maybe even the local press.

On a slightly seperate note, Perhaps we should have a FAQ for rival fans visiting and asking the same questions.

Dont know if you remember Danny Bakers footy phone in a few years back when him and Danny Kelly were discussing searching with a caller who took a Chainsaw into Barnets ground? when a game was taking place. Cannot remember the full story, but it was funny. There was a website with recordings of pas...

wolverine General apathy in Blackburn coupled with so many other things (crap club shop, expensive food and drink, annoying drummers, a high number of teams in the local area, confusing ticket prices - though this is getting better).
Is he confusing Blackburn with Reading?

I remember a copper asking us all to empty our pockets outside Selhurst Park one time so he could inspect our coins and keys, presumably if we had too many coins or dangerous looking keys we'd have been turned away.

I listened to the whole interview this afternoon, I counted at least four questions of mine all from "A texter", still it's better than last week when one of mine was from "Barry from Basingstoke"

1960 Dodd me if you like, but did we know that he was blind in one eye? Also I don't think he was too happy about Lovejoy outing him about this.
It was mentioned in the past, but as he doesn't play with a guide dog or white stick it's easilly overlooked, which is probably what Bobby prefers.

Re: In The Independent tomorrow....

He believes that, with the state of English football as it is, "Reading will not be able to remain in the Premiership without a large cash injection." The league table suggests otherwise . I'd like to believe this but I'm having doubts. Perhaps Mr Mad was misquoted and he actually said &q...

rawlie, any chance at the end of the season you could team up with hobnob and flog a few? No, because that would be illegal (see above). Would it be legal to just flog the covers? No because the pictures are subject to copyright too. What if all the RFC pics were replaced with uncopyrighted non RFC...

We would hold the record for most offsides in one season if Forster and Cureton were playing in the Premiership. Let's face it, Cureton is a good 2nd division striker at best In case you haven't noticed, he's scored 10 goals in the Championship so far this season! Which is the 2nd division  O...
