Re: Tshibola to leave?

Not happy if true, the kind of player we need to keep hold of. Young and hungry. I suppose he will be replaced with another cheapo deal from the Polish league?!

Re: Comments by Charles Watts on Twitter

If it is true, then surely it's not his place (as an official Reading FC reporter for GetReading) to announce this type of news. Id say its exactly his place to report what he has, how he has. I would agree it is his place had it been official news that was being announced, e.g. "During recent...

Re: Post Mortem

For someone who isn't a fan of loan signings, he sure does like to play them! Not sure why Brian isn't giving the youngsters a chance; the season is over. If we had got turned over so easily by Birmingham with some youth players involved, I wouldn't really have had a problem with that. These guys ha...

Re: Dellor moaning about Vydra again!!!

Dellor highlighting how poor Vydra has been is entirely justifable. In the context of our club's historical outlays for players, he has been one of our biggest signings. His performances should be scrutinised and possibly the signing itself. And as for no other options? I remember playing Cox up top...

Armadillo Roadkill Keep a single defeat in perspective.

But keep 8 points from a possible thirty in perspective also - that's bøllocks and everyone should be angry, not unemotional.

+1

Terrible form and really not acceptable.

It's time to start getting fired up and wanting to drag ourselves out of this slump.

Re: Something wrong at the club?

As I understand it the Posh chairman said (on Twitter) that another club were in for Conor Washington, and then pulled out in favour of a Polish striker, on the orders of foreign owner. That could apply to most Championship clubs these days. He didn't respond when someone asked if it was Rea...

Re: Something wrong at the club?

If the owners are saying no to our managers intended signings and suggesting we get players from other leagues they recommend. Then something is wrong. :? +1 Surely the manager should be signing players and building his own squad. If this is true might shed a light on Steve Clarke not wanting to ha...

Re: Would you cash in on Blackman?

Played poorly today, and surely shows why he wouldn't be much of a loss. Does next to nothing all game, pops up with a late goal, goads the opposition bench and acts like the world has done him wrong. Maybe he's playing out of position, but why not just get your head down and work harder, instead of...

Re: Michael Hector

So after today's debacle, which pretty much follows on from week after week of poor performances, countless mistakes and just a general couldn't care less kind of attitude, surely Hector has to go in January? Obviously he'll be out of the team whilst banned, but him being at the club really serves n...

Re: Welcome back Brian

Time will tell, but I'm pretty sure going back to someone who was sacked after displaying some all too obvious limitations really isn't the best idea - no matter how well revered by the fans.

Re: Who do you want to replace Tim Dellor?

Soured the mood? Really? He refused to ask pressing questions of Clarke, especially after the Fulham debacle. It was Ady Williams and Charles Watts asking what the fans wanted to know.

If anything he's monotone and quite boring, but can't say he does a bad job when it comes to match day coverage.

Re: Who do you want to replace Clarke?

I cannot believe we are going back to Brian McDermott. Enjoyed his time here obviously, but when the pressure cranks up, he clearly doesn't respond too well. In terms of footballing approach, this will be a backward step. If we want to move this club forwards in terms of philosophy and success, I do...

Re: Are to unhappy Steve Clark is staying?

How can anyone be happy with a manager who is only here, because he couldn't get what he wanted elsewhere? I never though he was 100% interested, I think it was a stop gap job and he clearly sees himself as too good for Reading. Which is fine, if a la Pardew he is going to make us better by getting ...

Re: Do you care if Clarke goes?

Not really bothered at all, never warmed to him. Some of his tactical decisions did leave a bit to be desired and seems to be struggling to sort out the defensive issues at the moment. Always thought he was better than the club i suspect, even when ruling out the Sunderland job - only because his mi...

Re: Wholesale changes in defence??

Why doesn't Cooper get a look in? Given Hector looking pretty dodgy at times in the last couple of weeks and McShane being first choice, I wouldn't mind seeing him given ago alongside McS,

Also Al-Habsi clearly has communication issues, Bond back in for sure.

Re: Will our keepers cost us promotion?

If you were to rank our current squad by ability and performances to date, our keepers would be very close to, if not at the bottom. That really isn't good enough for such a key, specialist position. Given that we won 3-1, I'd have to disagree I think both keepers are below Championship standard bu...
