Royal Lady Had you heard of Mensah and Fae before the stories that we were interested in them emerged? I certainly hadn't. Therefore, I'd hardly call them high profile names. Sorry.

Yes I had. This may be hard for you to accept RL but you aren't the end of all knowledge when it comes to footballers.

Royal Lady LOL @ Mensah and Fae being "high profile names". Where is Mensah now?

I suppose you've never heard of Scott Brown either?

Turned us down because he'd rather play in the Champions league.

It's on public record that we have tried to spend more... You can't say he hasn't tried to make higher profile signings because, frankly, that's bullshit. I'm trying to work how where the higher pressure of a single signing is compared to a relegation battle... Who were they then? Because I've neve...

rg6royal We need to sign an established player, not one who has never been heard of in the premiership.

Signing an established player who isn't past it is easier said than done.

Let us not forget what SSC said at the start of December: Boss - Spending equals ambition Steve Coppell has reaffirmed the need for more signings as the Club continues to look for growth. Earlier this week, Chairman John Madejski confirmed that funds are in place for January signings. The boss has ...

What makes me mad is that nearly every player SC buys they are never ready for the first team. What we want is him to buy players that are.Why buy Bennet, rosy and the like who never ever play.Get some players Coppell that can go straight into the first team before its too late. Yes because it's that...

I wish the media would come and interview me on this subject, so I can tell them just what I think of him in true "tells it like it is" Kitson style. Oh well, all footballers really are c*nts aren't they. How foolish of us to expect otherwise. I'd actually be curious to know of a tally ag...

Care to explain your problem with my reasons? he has no problem with your reasons its just a bad review of your book get over it and learn to take criticism the plo...

I got stopped a few months ago simply for driving a car out of a pub car park. I took the test and passed it easily, but when I did some investigation it turns out that these days just driving away from a pub is considered sufficient grounds to stop a person on suspicion of drink driving. probably ...

They want to change law so that if you just get caught it's a community sentence.

But if you kill someone you really get the book thrown at you.

In my book driving whilst under the influence is the same as attempted manslaughter (if there was such a thing), just because you haven't done a Lee Hughes yet doesn't me you won't, by getting behind the wheel of a car when over the limit you are saying you'll take the risk with someone elses life ...

All we do know is that he refused to take the breathe test.

We all know Dave Kitson is a proud man (ultimately his downfall?) who is going to argue his corner if someone accuses him of something he didn't do.

Whether he did do it or not refusing to cooperate is asking for trouble and he got it.

No, not in the slightest. Like Kitson, Lita has never been convicted of anything. And if my memory serves me rightly (it may not!) he has only been charged with one offence (which was dropped). Add to that that some of Lita’s transgressions, like the web incident, are not crimes at all, and I don...

Stooper
TBM So Blatter says this and he's a prick but Coppell says something similar and he's a legend - how does that work?

Well said.

Also think I should point out different people have different opinions.

The people criticising blatter here are not the same ones who agreed with Coppell.

Ian Royal Coppell always plays to win in th ecup. He make changes, but it's always a team sent out with the intention of competeing and winning the match.
