It's a rare occurrence but I agree with VM. One of the reasons for involving young players in the first-team, and which Coppell failed to do again yesterday, is so that they can gain some experience should injuries and absences make them a consideration. Look at Hobbs at Liverpool, who has filled i...

I'd say our strength in depth is better than many assume. It has been my opinion for a long while (mostly unspoken) that Bikey is one of the best defenders at the club. It may well be the tactics employed (a lesson learnt from last week perhaps) that contributed to this result as much as the quality...

Why do some people get TVpants, but I can't . F**king b***ocks. Stupid computer. But why oh why, when we've got Chelsea & Man Utd and Villa away coming up, do we throw games away by getting players sent off? Fulham got beat today and Brum are losing at HT. But what about when they get their goo...

Convey is the more technical player, Hunt is the grafter. Convey is lacking in form, confidence and fitness after spending a long time out with an injury. Hunt is on the top of his game due to the consistency of games he has played. Convey has gotten a not insignificant amount of assists since comin...

I disagree about Shane Long, he still lacks consistency with the final product (due to his late start to the game, he'll be a late bloomer I think) but is excellent as an impact player late in a game because of his pace against tired players.

Hence, keep him as a sub.

I like Bikey, he's not in the first team yet but for as long as he's been here he seems to really care about what's happening on the pitch.

Halfords career at Reading was cut short due to the player turning up to training out of his head a couple of times. Glen Little seems to think, and I quote "There was this guy who we've paid a record fee for turning up to training and we're all thinking, he just plain isn't good enough".

All I have is the shot chart on gamecast to go on. Is our midfield still in the dressing room? It looks to me like once we equalized we started to let them have the run of things. Until we equalised birmingham were doing a lot of sitting back. Now they aren't. Things seem pretty even to me over all...

Chelsea don't even come close. Recent big team who've spent most of their time as top league also rans. To be honest, beating Spurs and Everton means more in the big scheme of things than beating Cheatski. Get over yourself. although 99.9% of Reading fans would prefer to beat Chelsea over Spurs or ...
