Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (a) sponsored by nothing to lose

Well in it, if not a shade on top (despite the stats) until the goal. Well out of it for large periods after, but still felt we could have nicked something until the sending off. Fulham fans were even worse than expected. Attendance was 19,272 in a ground that holds 25,678. So Fulham managed just a...

Re: BFTG Fulham

Ticktock Anyway.. a relatively enjoyable game tbf. Our chance to get something out of it seemingly came and went with the 2 blocked shots a couple of minutes before their goal, which totally knocked the stuffing out of us. Barrow looked very dangerous in the first 30. Aluko was only ever a danger t...

Re: BFTG Fulham

I did think Kermie looked much more like his 'old self' when he came on, won some good headers and was full of running. At least Clement chose to put him on first ahead of Martin, who yet again was a total waste of space when he strolled on - there was one point near the end, when Aluko had the ball...

EXACTLY..... I was meaning to pose the same question on the BFTG thread !

It's like playing with 10 men..... assuming we have 11 on the pitch of course

Re: MATCHWATCH : Aston Villa (a) sponsored by a night out in the Midlands

Smith ahead of Martin. That's a call! Bacuna and Evans into midfield too I thought Martin was awful against QPR. Actually every time I’ve seen him he has been awful. At least Smith will give a bit of work rate +1 Pleased with tonight's changes..... possibly Swift is not fit but Joey & Martin di...

Re: BFG QPR

Great game, fantastic atmosphere - glad I managed to find my season ticket ! Usually at the final whistle I am one of the first out the door and rushing to the car park but had to stay and applaud the team on Saturday, what a superb effort. I wonder if Stam followed the game, it would be nice to thi...

tidus_mi2 Ugh that interview was garbage, only useful thing it told us was that Kelly was taken off because he had cramp.

Yep....much like a Stam interview, even managed to blame the players.... more Double, Dutch :o

Basildon Stuck £20 on it a couple of weeks ago at 10/1. At the very least will soften the blow a little if it does happen.

Re: BFT Appalling mess at home

Decision to stay home and watch some rugby totally vindicated  Funny enough they pass the ball backwards too - only difference is they actually move up the pitch at the same time ! Cannot imagine I will be returning any time soon, not while the 'Double Dutch Man' is still around that is for su...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (a) sponsored by total apathy

As a STH travelling a fair distance I won’t be going to the Millwall game if he is still in charge. I have better things to do. Ditto.......... Have already offered my season ticket to a 'friend' for the Millwall game - not a good friend obviously ! I am not going to spend 3 or 4 hours travelling t...

Re: BFTG - Stevenage

Fair play to Gunter (and McShane) for trying to put the record straight - perhaps they should now follow the example of other senior professionals 9 years ago, after that dismal Xmas defeat 4 - 1 away to Plymouth. They apparently had a meeting to clear the air and find a way to save their season. Th...

Re: Back from the shambles - Brum

We have had some managers who talk bollox after games for sure, but no-one comes close to Stam. I was tempted to record last night’s pathetic interview, then type up a transcript to review but spending any more time than listening live to that twat’s voice would have sent me round the twist. People...

John Madejski's Wallet I stayed to the end...... so many others were leaving I just figured I'd have a better chance of getting out of the car park if I stayed till the end

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/6205803.stm Took my niece to her first game that day, needless to say she loved it became a fan and later a season ticket holder. The question we have to ask, is how many youngsters going to their first game against Burton a few days ago, will retur...

Re: BFTG Bristol City Away

Well at least everyone appeared to be giving 100% today unlike Saturday - plenty of passion on display and several players came over to acknowledge the fans. Evans made a difference but it would be good to see Bacuna playing through the middle too, we should bring Richards in swap Gunter over AND dr...

Re: Parking in Bristol

Half Horse Anyone got any suggestions for parking tomorrow? It's my first visit to Ashton Gate.

Although many of the roads 'nearby' are for permit holders - it is a Bank Holiday so restrictions do not apply - you might have to walk for few minutes but you could try some of the roads off North Street.
