Re: Let’s talk about passing it around the back.

Agree with the comments about Lauent/Rinomhota. The soft underbelly for a number of years have been our defensive weaknesses down the middle of the pitch. That changed this season with these two doing so well in the first seven games to protect the back four. That’s been lost in the past four games....

Re: Let’s talk about passing it around the back.

I detest passing out from the back, with a passion. I can think of barely any goals conceded as a direct result of a punt upfield in the first 15 odd years of watching Reading before this fad arrived here and yet passing out we now regularly see half a dozen a season. And I reckon we've scored as m...

Re: Let’s talk about passing it around the back.

I think it’s an area we’ve missed Moore Someone else posted about how many shots Moore has charged down I've made the point that we weren't outplayed in any of these games just made horrible mistakes. But a fair few of those mistakes could have led to a blocked shot (rather than a goal) had Moore b...

Re: Back from whatever that was.

We’ve now conceded 11 in our last 4 games. No goals scored in our last two games. So problems at both ends. Would prefer we went to Bournemouth with a view to frustrating them and try and pick up a point.

Re: Back from whatever that was.

It might - or it might not Fixtures certainly aren’t particularly tough after Bournemouth. Get Meite, ejaria, Holmes and Moore back fit (maybe swift?) and it’s a different game Whatever the results over the next month or so we need to give the man the time to move the club forward. Fully agree Keep...

Re: Back from whatever that was.

Owners impatience for promotion may cost us dear. Still a work in progress. Yep Paunovic must be given time. The lack of squad depth has become apparent over the past eight days. This bad run may go on for a while yet. It might - or it might not Fixtures certainly aren’t particularly tough after Bo...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

Baldock very articulate and considered in his post match interview. Clearly an intelligent guy and not just in footballing terms. I too think he has done quite well in the last two games when he came on - looked one of our players most likely to create openings and chances. He's not your stereotypi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

Is that another game where Rafael didn't make a single save? I like him as a keeper, but he's made a lot of errors this season. Even in the good run, he was dropping some alarming flaps at crosses, passes and one save straight at an opposition forward that bounced off him and safe. His distribution...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

What's that lads, it's the 92nd minute and we're 2-0 down? No you can't bloody go long, play it out at walking pace with at least three backwards or sideways passes. Just oxf*rd off. We can now see that Pauno-ball is the exact same crap that we've been stuck with for years. plodding out the back, d...

tidus_mi2 Just because Gibson oxf*rd up it doesn't absolve McIntyre of having a shit game against Preston, oxf*rd we miss Moore.

Yep exactly

Thought he looked pretty good until then

Should have scored in the first half. Gave away a goal in the second. Not a great debut.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

oxf*rd sake Joao, ignore a great run from Baldock then spaff a ball 20 yards ahead of a static Aluko. Baldock seems like the only one trying to play on the shoulder and run in behind, totally ignored each time. Stop trying to make Baldock a thing. It’s not a thing. A big +1. Why is Baldock still at...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

There's plenty of players to be fed up with in this performance, I just don't really see Baldock as high up in the list We needed someone to come on who could make a difference. Baldock is not that player. Well that's Paunovic's fault, nothing to do with Baldock's performance. Baldock’s performance...
