Re: RFC accounts for 2021/2 published

Confirmation statement issued today on RFC. Variation in share issue possibly ? Rehne now having just under 11.5 million more shares than the same point last year, I assume this relates to the money “generated” in June and April (?) to cover the debts (unpaid loans and wages)? Reading Asia still ho...

Not spotted any complacency in Smith ... battling hard all game and looking for goals.

karbota
WestYorksRoyal I think we've really missed Yiadom these last 3 games. Hope he doesn't make the final AFCON squad.

Yes, and another reason why we dont need so many foreign players.

Re: Selles In

Is that 4 wins, 4 draws, 1 defeat in 9? Massive improvement over a sustained period. Looked very tired and lethargic against Cheltenham and today, but it was the end of a busy period and ultimately points matter. Hope we'll look fresher after a fortnight off and keep this going. Still cant help but...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

Out of the bottom 4 on goal difference but will presumably be dropped back in on Saturday due to no game. Reading are now 4 points behind Burton, Wigan and Cambridge (17th-19th) however Exeter also have a game in hand as well as a visit from Carlisle on Saturday. Saturday's L1 fixtures are: Burton ...

When we talk about losing face, I don't think he cares about the public perception. I think he cares about his millionaire pcunt 'friends'. What he doesn't realise is that being responsible for one of the oldest teams in world football and the biggest club to fold in the home of football for at lea...

Definitely playing better and a more established line-up ... not looking like a team that should be in the relegation zone.

Any useful protest ideas to be had from Charlton who i think had similar issues with Du Chatelet? When they finally got shot of him (2020?) I think they went through a couple more changes in ownership before their present owners. It needs to get dirty and nasty. What's the most you can do to make h...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Reading that tweet it sounded like someone merely keen to stir up the protests with no actually proof to justify his/her claims that Genevre have walked away. If they have, there would have been a public annoucement to that fact; if I was their PR I would put out a statement along these lines: &quo...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Anybody else starting to get seriously concerned that Dai's not going this season? If there are 4 parties interested in buying Reading, there will be 4 sets of du diligence, 4 sets of negotiations. The owner will be playing these offers against one another, its an auction of sorts. Depending on who...

If Azeez has found his scoring boots and having a positive impact, that has to be good for us, as he seems to get into a lot of good positions through intelligent movement. Only saw the highlights obvs, but Vickers looks like a real player. Azeez has certainly found his form since scoring v Carlisl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (h)

I don't think it'll happen, but based upon his performances this week I'd happily see Pereira start on Saturday. I'm not convinced by Button; too many 6 yard tap ins because he remains rooted to his line instead of claiming the cross. You've missed some of the shockers he's conceded in the previous...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Nixon now reporting that Ashley only has interest in the stadium and being landlord not club owner. This would be a horrific outcome ... we'd end up in a situation like Oxford or Coventry with someone else owning the stadium and making a profit from it, while the club languishes with a useless owner.

Re: Selles out

Think Eastleigh was the final straw for me with Selles. Haven’t been able to go or watch recent games and was interested to see if talk of the new formation etc was making us any better We just look exactly the same. No real plan, the high pressing looks good when it comes off a couple of times a m...

Re: I've lost count - Embargos, HMRC Payent defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

I would presume that any potential buyer is expecting a shit show in the first place - just look at us. But who knows, they could find someone which is even worse than their expectations such as using the club to launder money and finance terrorism. Then the Gov could seize us and sell us to whoeve...

Forbury Lion Away Win
Home Win
Christmas
New Owner
New Manager
Sell a player for a fee
Valentines Day
Ejaria to return (Maybe in a cup competition)

Left off relegation as I think a new owner and new manager might see us survive.

Relegation could stlll happen - maybe not this season!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

3 home games on the spin now. No reason why we couldn’t build some real confidence and get a decent unbeaten run going. I can think of a few reasons but yes a real opportunity. Season defining I think Tuesday is big. Don't win, and today is just a day out to enjoy. But yes, 6 or 7 points from the n...
