Each stand is to remain a single tier but become deeper. I'm not sure that will be the case. I expect it will be a two tier structure but the tiers will not overhang (there will be a solid wall a few feet high behind the current last row of seats). THis would mean that the new seats will have their...

Can we have the statistics of all serious accidents involving buses in the 7 years of our stadium please? Thanks. So you would rather wait for one to happen so that there can be a statistic? People have identified a problem where the safety of supporters is in question, but because you don't see a ...

Spirit of Elm Park Why does it have to be Football matches?

Because this is a football forum so I was relating it to that. Your point is valid.

I think you are missing my point. I'm not knocking your social observations, I just find it funny that you make them about a place where you have never experienced the "problem" in 4 years. Whitley is as safe as the next place as long as you follow the rules. I think you are missing my po...

Football didn't cause it, and being unaccompanied didn't cause it, having something on show in said vehicle that looked of value or intrigued the thief....now that might cause it. ....follow the rules. That's right is it? When my car was broken in to it had nothing on show, but they broke in to 4 c...

I read the first, and last sentence of your post. The first sentence, and I quote, "It isn't that safe anywhere in Whitley" which IMO is slightly more targetted than a generalisation, is backed up by your second sentence "That applies to any areas....". You've made a point in yo...

It isn't that safe anywhere in the Whitley/Whitley Wood especiallly when those that enjoy a bit of car crime know that the cars parked in the streets in that area will be unattended whilst the football is going on. THat applies to any areas of any town in country where cars are parked for football ...

PlasticRoyale The Bookmaker's are heavily favouring a UTD win at around 1.50

Now there's a surprise.

Why do so many of you lazy buggers waste your money parking at all? Just park the car in the quiet streets opposite the the Holiday Inn (Greenfields Road for one - also has an alleyway through to the Basingstoke Road opposite the park). It's dead quiet, very very safe and 10 minutes walk to the gro...

If it is around 9000 I'd be pretty cheesed off to be honest. If I and others can make the effort to be there who don't live in the Reading area, then it shows what a town full of Glory supporters we really have here at the club and town. What an absolute load of crap. Not everyone has limitless sup...

blade 1 Tis in the past and it doesn't matter much really, but was it not 1-1 at that point?

Yes it was and had Kenny not handled we would probably have scored.

It's still irrelevant and I have no idea why I'm arguing about it.

its hardly irrelevant, if the ref had done his job properly at that point we would have had the chance to make it 2-1 with less than 5 mins left. The worrying think was how the ref seemed to think both decisions were correct. It is totally irrelevant. If the ref had done his job properly we would a...

blade 1 hardly harpers fault is it, the ref made his decision.

See how that comment can be changed to fit either incident?
