Re: BFTT Bournemouth

We can blame their first 3 goals on our errors but looking at them again they were just very well worked goals. Yes had we a better RB we could possibly have stopped the first 2. but overall we have a much better team than last year that play some exciting football. But we have a major weakness on r...

Re: BFTT Bournemouth

Cabral - 5 basically giving away a goal a game at the moment. oxf*rd terrible form Esteves - 4 Morrison spends half the game shouting at him. He's got talent but it's like no one has ever taught him how to play RB. Positionally awful. Richards - 6 don't remember much wrong Morrison - 6 don't think ...

Re: Back from whatever that was.

I’m surprised people are bothering to give ratings. Coventry I can accept as we were good enough., the last two games I can’t. Two 3-0 home defeats in a row raises eyebrows and serious question marks even in a relegation season with a manager on his way out. To be facing this when top of the table ...

Re: BTFT - Blackburn

Anyone think the forward line moved a lot quicker with some crisp inter passing? Ejaria tends to hold onto the ball and slow things down a lot. The pace up front was a big change.

Re: Dougie Webb 1939-2020

Saw Dougie about 2 years ago with Neil as they dropped off my car. Neil said he loved staying in his caravan down at Hayling. Cant get much more Reading than that. Great little goalscorer, brings back great memories

Re: If you didn't support Reading, who would you have supported and why?

Used to watch Chelsea when younger as it was easy to get in in those days. About 6 years ago had a season ticket for both! Also followed Man City as my next door neighbour in Manchester was Mick Mcarthy. When I lived in London it was also QPR. Despite these extra teams I hardly ever missed a Reading...

Simmops Congrats on creating the most pointless thread of 2020. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Missed out on Riquelme

Shame we lost this one but suppose it was down to money from his club.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (h) sponsored by Chris Armstrong

WestYorksRoyal Pauno's call on how to replace Araruna, but agree Watson must be finished if he doesn't play. He's already 23 and if he can't get picked in these circumstances then he'll never make it.

strange one as when watson played he looked very good

Well worth a new thread. Another triumph for the team board. Agree. We need this thread for when Osho signs for West Ham Of course I bow to the fact that your views are more important than others. Please accept my apologies for posting. Let me know when I qualify to post. Clearly 58 years of suppor...

Osho

I see he still has no club. Filled in at right back and did a good job. Cant understand why in these present times he would not accept the contract offered?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h) sponsored by a trip down t'pit

The midfield couldn't cope with being closed down. I thought that was an awful performance overall. The lack of chasing lost balls was worrying.

Win yes but awful performance overall. Swift looked like he didnt want to be here never once chased a lost ball. Very sloppy midfield and no pace until Meite came on.

The cognitive stuff is whacky. Re: CONFIMRED - Veljko Paunović

Slightly off topic but I remember when BMac signed Kermie most on here including myself were well and truly underwhelmed and he turned out to be one of my all time favorite players, much like Ian Harte. Bomo got rid of him after he returned to training massively overweight. If you remember he was p...

You have to pay for I Follow??? I thought it came free on RFC website although I see they are now saying £10 per game whereas season ticket holders got if free. Why don't they get season ticket holders to re-new, get free I follow and refund an amount for any game they are not allowed to attend. Ap...

Re: New FFP rules

Ok. Using the financials from the holding company we lost 21m in 17/18 and 11.7m in 18/19. So for last season and this basically we have to break even still. Its very likely we lost a lot of money last season so this season we have to make the equivalent of the loss last season. How do we get out o...
