Re: less prolific than Pog

Ian Royal The obvious answer is to kill him and make it look like an accident to claim on the insurance.

Free up wages and actually make money.

I like this idea a lot could it be a double training ground accident with HRK

Re: Steve Clake - New Poll

Do who got the better deal, Bournemouth with Wilson, or Cardiff with Alf . One is a goalscorer at this level, the other apparently not. Cardiff (OGS) were absolutely barmy to pay top dollar for a player who's only effective in and around the 6 yard box and then play him on the wing. No wonder he wa...

SapperBRoyal I sense more disappointment is coming. I don't think SC is the man, and I am worried as to whether that the Thais have the stomach for the job.

Completely agree.

Well i'd hate to be Millwall or Wigan fans hoping us to get a result for them tonight, or even Brentford or Wolves expecting us to do them a favour Saturday. This manager and bunch of players seemed to have plumbed new depths of not giving a toss on Saturday, seven short days since we almost got tot...

Re: What is the point in HRK

The other problem is he thinks he's a great player, as he has sycophants like his brother blowing smoke up his arse. He is by no means the only player who has a much inflated opinion of themselves and it is down to Clarke to relieve them of this opinion

Re: 2012-2015: worst signings

Harsh on Pog. Unlike Drenthe he put in some excellent shifts (Man City away 2012) and would have probably scored more had he had some decent service and a striker to take the pressure of him notably last season when we were crippled. Amazing that you can remember Man City away, when there were so m...

Re: Pogrebnyak Interview

Geekins I see your Pog and raise you Emerse Fae and Greg Halford.

Yep agree with both and although we paid fees to sign, weren't paying such ridiculous wages and this is the sticking point
Also I think we re-couped all our money on Halford but not Fae

Probably not worth its own thread but it covers a couple of different topics so here we go. Russian friend of mine watched a (Russian) football show yesterday where they interviewed Pav on the phone. Summary in bullet form: - held his hands up regarding missed chances, said that after we equalised ...

Re: "Reading's attack can dump us out of the FA Cup"

What we want is for Pog & HRK to have stonking games score a brace each to put Arsenal out, then Arsene suggests a swap deal for them, with us getting Giroud & Cazorla in exchange plus possibly a bit of money (alright the last bits far fetched)

Re: How far we've slipped

I have really enjoyed the rise to this level that we have now apparently "slipped from" Can barely remember a season since when Pardew took over that we haven't been involved in something.......(promotions/play-offs/relegations/narrowly missing out on play-off places) it's been great. For...

Re: How far we've slipped

But we aren't mid table, we are relegation fodder, though would need to lose every game really to go down. So not relegation fodder then. Roll on the summer when hopefully the over-paid egos all go, and they are replaced with younger, hungrier players with a point to prove, and whom want to be here...

Re: How far we've slipped

I'm always amazed to see anyone say they expected anything above midtable this season, even with a decent start and better summer transfers than expected. But shouldn't we be expecting something above midtable, when we only missed out on the play-offs on the last game of last season, and Mick Goodi...

How far we've slipped

At the beginning of this season I was relatively optimistic and thought we'd be up there challenging with the likes of Derby & Norwich , Forest, Cardiff and possibly Boro' & Leeds n Bournemouth. Now with a hatful of games to go we are on the edge of a relegation scrap and we're scared of get...

Less involved after getting clattered - maybe even a bit concussed?
Actually that is a fair point. He was floored by one hell of a shot. It was so quick I didn't catch whose shot it was
Pretty sure it was McCleary and equally sure it was going in!
Typical that his only other ...

Re: CONFIMRED - Glenn Murray on loan

Why was he so shit for us? Perhaps shit isn't quite the right word, but he never looked like scoring many, and didn't lead the line with much energy or muscle. We haven't lost anything since Pog replaced him, yet he gets rave reviews every time that Palace are on the tv. So we haven't lost anything...
