Re: Worst player you've seen at Reading

Rougier - yeh sure, hero for scoring that bizarre og off his backside at the millenium stadium in the duv2 playoff final against walsall  Would you of expected Barry Hunter to kick the ball along the ground instead of launching it 200ft in to the air like he did with every other clearance?[/q...

Re: Worst opposition player seen

Ian Richardson. What a goal.

In the Premier, I remain amazed JS Park has a place in Sir Alex's squad.

Robert Codner. Couldn't run and the turning circle of an aircraft carrier.

Mass is saved by his performance on the first day at the Madejski.

Re: Sunday Mass, say your prayers!

I have found another straw to clutch. We can still go up if Fulham win, we just have to beat Derby (the worst team in Premier League history) 7-0. What if Fulham win 2-0? + 2 Then we win by 8. Alternatively - the funniest possible outcome - we win by loads, pompey win and Chelsea hammer Bolton. so ...

Re: slow responce

Our idiot of a Steward decided that immediately after Spurs scored the goal that is likely to be the nail in our coffin was the ideal time to come up to the back of Y24 and tell everyone to sit down. Such sensitivity. He was a bit affronted when no-one listened.

RUMOUR - Club ownership news

Just picked up this from Tutti's City contacts: Reading Football Club, the UK-based soccer team, has hired Citigroup to help it find a buyer for the franchise and its stadium, Sports Business Journal reported. The report cited unnamed sources who said owner John Madejski is seeking up to USD 200m (G...

Re: Murty granted a testimonial

Here's the hobnob report on his friendly debut after signing and just before the injury. Anyone else go? Am I right in recalling that he was blisteringly pacy?

Re: PAUL KITSON?!! (Media don't like us /can't spell thread)

Thursday's The London Paper match report. I fully accept that Chelsea ar a)bigger than us and b) a local team, but is it too much to ask that the report mentions one of the two teams in the game just once, or even one of their players?

I almost accused you in the post. Well funny, mostly because of the totally blank looks you got back from the geordies.

the display by all the oxford keepers back in whenever it was in the 90's, i think we ended up 3-1 winners at their place, the banter we handed out to the keepers, i felt, really did put them off their game, they must have had 3 different goalies that day "worse than the last one, you're even ...

Rubbish. The only Englishman to play regularly at centre half for Reading in the top division. Get some perspective. Just because you - like me - want him out of the team at the moment, doesn't change the difference between where we are now and where we've been. So Harper must get in ahead of Webb ...

FSB was the first to openly stay that Reading could support a Premier league club - and was ridiculed for it. He built the team that made it seem a possibility in 94-5. That was the experience that started the fire on the madstad development. Certainly, the team itself has nothing to do with him, bu...

Not one of his finest, at least. Sterling service for 95 years before it goes. A pity, as it's the grounds last real link with HMFC's golden generation of the Somme.
