Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

I'm sure that when we hopefully get safe Coke Miles Smith will at least get some time with the first team, maybe the bench.

His goals and assists are exceptional.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Port Vale (h)

Why have we played so many more games? Is it because we are rubbish at cups? Part of it yeah, some teams below/above us got further in the cups so had to rearrange their fixtures. Course some got some games postponed also. Sucks but all we can do is stay consistent and hope teams below us don't gai...

Re: Away followings

its not a international weekend is it? Green --> :x Annoyingly it is. Don't know how many players we'll (or they'll) have going away - I think it's three or more for the game to be postponed. Likely Bindon NZ, Savage Wales U21 and Elliot, Cameroon, I'm sure we had one or two others in the autumn to...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Port Vale (h)

Their confidence will be low off their recent run and off the back of a very bad result yesterday. The games in hand are not a massive advantage and given the 2 week international break, when few sides play, and Easter which rules out another midweek, they will have some really compact spells of gam...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (a)

We seem to have had an issue for years with keepers conceding at the near post, going all the way back to Federici who was prone to it, its basic positioning, schoolboy stuff.

Re: liam moore to return till end of the season

When the financial problems started to bite two years ago, Moore privately told the club that he wouldn't refuse a transfer if it would help. They responded by publicly stripping him of the captaincy. Don't think it's fair to characterise Moore as happily sat on the bench. If you're going to find f...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Portsmouth (a)

It's weird that, outside of local rivals, it's fans of clubs like Derby and Portsmouth, who've both been within days of liquidation, who are enjoying our plight/wishing the worst for us. Yeah, it's all banter (ugh) at the end of the day, but there are some people you think would know better. It's e...

4 aways against top 4 - 2 draws 3 other aways, Carlisle, Rovers & Burton - 1 win, 1 draw 7 homes - 4 wins, 2 draws So 20 points - roughly our current whole season PPG. We would then have enough in the bank for a 3 or 4 point deduction This season is basically turning into a tribute act for the ...

And we scored all three goals!! Lucky, lucky Arsenull. Yes I was there in the Town end - great day Think Stuart Morgan headed a superb own goal from a corner for the winner? Was the equaliser Barrie Wagstaff at the Town end ? The other own goal was John Harley Dick Habbin cant remember that - was it...

Really don`t know where these £30m stories are coming from, certainly not from Dai is it? Just baseless rumours people are spreading IMO. They came from The Athletic who posted something yesterday and who haven't got a good track record for accuracy, was part of an article on Chinese owners.. The l...

WestYorksRoyal Plenty of results going against us at HT. Sometimes it feels like we need to win every week to survive.

Yes could without Burton and Wycombe winning. Fleetwood have had a player sent off though so hope in that game, and he will miss our game.
