Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

It’s clear as day where their problems lay. Their record against the top teams is superb Beat Leicester Beat City Beat Chelsea Beat Tottenham Drew to Liverpool They have the players to play on the counter, Martial, James, Rashford etc but they have no creative players to break teams down when they s...

Re: VAR

Er... Everton away? You can’t compare the two On the one today, was probably a red card but I wouldn’t have given it just because of how Rudiger reacted. It’s just quite sad and pathetic how footballers act these days, they spend more time on the floor than anything else. Just ruining a good game T...

Snowflake Royal Personally thought that was a ludicrous red card,

As in ludicrous from Son or a ludicrous decision?

Re: BFTG - Derby

Not sure but after we got hammered by Swansea on New Years Day we had played 26 games and picked up just 20 points. Ah, happy days :) It was the day my car keys slipped out of my pocket and were under my seat in the ED Stand. Got back to my car at Mereoak and thought WTF followed by a humbling and ...

Two major errors by Taylor correctly changed. Son has previous don't forget. He has previous? No he does not. Er... Everton away? Re: BFTG - Derby

Except there was pressure on Derby because we don’t play a team below 14th now until Wednesday 26th February. Now we may go win all the next 11 games or so but looking at probabilities, Derby was our biggest chance of a win by quite a margin and we didn’t want to go into the back of those fixtures w...

Re: BFTG - Derby

Hound It’s very much Baldock +1 for me at the moment. Either Joao or Puscas a good foil for him

Meite looks far happier back on the right. McCleary can cover him

Was surprised McCleary wasn’t brought on yesterday, I thought his width could have been useful but we had a strong bench yesterday

Re: BFTG - Derby

Seems like people just dont want to admit they were wrong about him. Early on people took the "Joao is a 1 in 4 games player" on board and cant leave it behind. Think it's because he has a languid playing style. Imo he has proven his ability to be the fulcrum we need in attack. Right now ...

Re: BFTG - Derby

I agree with first poster on here. We were lucky to be honest and 3 nil flattered us. I'll go through each half and then do player ratings. 1st Half When I saw the line up for us I was shocked at how little defensive cover and mobility we had in the middle. We started brightly and João setup Meite ...

Re: BFTG - Derby

Indeed ‘URZZ’ Lots of mitigation’s for you (and others) negativity out there. Today, just take it for what it was, 3 points against a problemed team who is still looking for its own cohesive way ahead. However, do not denigrate our own teams day in the sun...we had players missing too Delighted tha...

Re: BFTG - Derby

I’m fully aware we won the game 3-0 But Rinomhota has been on poor form since his error for the Leeds goal. He was no better today. Just because we won the game 3-0 doesn’t mean he played well I think, as a team, we are over reliant on Swift and today hasn’t changed my mind. A professional three poi...

Re: BFTG - Derby

A 3-0 win which papered over the cracks. A lot more is needed against better sides. Even against a poor 10 men Derby, we didn’t have enough control of the ball and they waltzed through our midfield

Lower West
Needle Thought dragging Rino off for Swift was odd.

Was suffering from a bad cold. Which probably accounts for his under par performance.

Has he had his bad cold for a month?

Re: Rival Watch

Point at Barnsley looking increasingly handy, they’ve done pretty well in the last five or so games Millwall are becoming a weird team. Nine excellent points at Swansea, Bristol and Derby before a 2-1 loss to Barnsley We remain the only team without a home draw this season. In fact, every other team...
