Re: Coppell to sign contract next

I dont want Coppell to go but.. I wouldn't mind Darren Ferguson as a replacement We'd get a few favours from Man Utd aswell... and possibly some off their youngsters... If we went up, I genuinely don't think any United youngsters would do us good. Rafael and Fabio are definately needed. Evans too. ...

Re: Sonko To Return on Loan?

Kitson to return is much more likely than this.

Shorey? Oh, I'm not sure- I think Sonks would rather come back to us, but we'd rather have Shorey. I don't think there's much chance of either coming back.

Re: Strikeforce Debate

It's all well and good speculating about how a new formation will work, but Coppell is a 4-4-2 manager and always will be. He'll only change his formation when necessary, and even then it's almost certainly going to be a 4-5-1 to cope with the rival 5 man midfield. Someone try the formation on FM? ...

Re: Royals now favorites to win league

but would it be a good thing if Cardiff won at Wolves next week? A month ago I'd have said yes please, but not so sure at all now. Which Teamboard sage can advise? I'm quite possibly the exact opposite of sage... I want Wolves to win. A larger gap between us and first and us and third is better tha...

Re: Strikeforce Debate

Neither Lita nor Long are good enough, so NHunt and Doyle get it by default. I'd rather have Church or Mooney coming off the bench than Lita or Long- but that's simply because they are unproven in the first team, and it would be exciting watching them, as it is whenever we sign someone new or bring ...

Re: Rumour - Danny Shittu on loan

I don't think it's any worse than letting their current defence run out there every week!

I think McLeish is sane enough not to bed them all in at the same time. I think Shittu would be straight into their side, with Carr and then Traore following.

Ian Royal 2nd tier 2 (larger Premier League = 24)

Ah. I see what was undoing me there. Thanks, Ian!

Not going to happen. Fourth choice if he came here, I think he's burnt his bridges. We're fine for centre backs.

Re: Was this the best game ever?

The 'boro match, the Liverpool match, and the Derby match (I don't even need to refer to dates :) ) are all up there. As, obviously, is Palace in 05-06, the Wigan play off semi, and the 4-3 against Oxford. However, my favourite RFC match was against Ipswich in 2005. They scored in the 90th minute. G...

Re: Free Agents

Ian Royal Didn't know Gunnar had badges or desires to coach.

I think Sun Tzu was speaking hypothetically.

I would only offer Lita a deal if he starts scoring, and winning points in the process. The others I would all keep.

Re: Message to the other CCC clubs

But you wouldn't get the money til the end of the season, so it couldn't stop you going into administration before the end of the season. It's possible, but it's so unlikely anyone will try AND actually have a significant impact on who goes up. It's not an issue. AND throwing a game would be agains...

Re: finacial problems?

Seeing as Madejski is worth either £400m or £800m (I forget which), we wouldn't be in deep trouble. What's the difference between £400m and £370m (other than the obvious £30m)? I'm sure he wouldn't be tight-fisted enough not to pay it off.

Re: Federici Injured?

It's a ruse, a blind, a deception. Physio Jon Fearn said, "The back injury is something that has developed over the last few days, probably as a result of training on hard surfaces in the recent cold weather". "It took a turn for the worse towards the end of last week and we had to w...

I'd be happy with play offs, but I think I'd prefer Champions. Second place would be the "worst" of the three options- a day at Wembley seems preferable to me!

Re: Shane Long

How was Leroy today? Would NHunt have done better? Would Shane have done better? NHunt would have done far better. Long wouldn't have done worse, except maybe from the free kick, which wasn't that good anyway. What a complete and utter load of rollox. Lita made their keeper produce the best save of...

Re: Jimmy Kebe is a good player, sign in

Schards#2 Sad to say, I can't remember Kebe's last decent performance. Yet he doesn't seem to be under any pressure for his place.

He has the ability to terrorise fullbacks at this low level but it's been a long while since he has.

I agree with Schards.

Get Henry in next week.
