Re: A bit worrying

I notice that, in a bid to boost the attendance for the Fulham game, the OS has announced the club is running a "buy 3, get one free" offer. I don't suppose for one minute they'll be refunding the STHs for this game then? The bloke at the desk next to me is a Fulham fan and even he is not...

Re: STAR and The Royal Families

It is not below cost though, as Costco allow them to do it for free I think. When I said "below cost" it was only to illustrate that the one off New Years day car parking was undercutting the regular car parking businesses that RFC have put so much effort into getting established. What is...

Re: STAR and The Royal Families

If cut price parking is provided at Costco on New Years Day then is there an issue that the regular car parking facilities are being under cut? Apparently RFC has gone to great lengths to persuade local companies to provide parking although at a prohibitive cost to fans but on one day a year the com...

Re: Attendance v Man U

Interesting that yesterday attracted more fans with us 'playing shite' than last year when it was all a novelty. Noticed that there were large sections of the upper west by the south stand had empty seats I think it is because the Reading FC sales centre has finally become efficient at selling almo...

Re: Be Careful Parking - Thieves About.

SymonsO I drive/drove a classic mini, and it was broken into...

It seemed a fairly professional job as all the dials were removed quite carefully as they are worth a bit etc.

Could it be a danger to park a noticeable car in the same place each week? Do the thieves know you will be there?

I like blue shorts

It also used to annoy me when we had black names and numbers on hoops which were very difficult to read.

Was it black on hoops or red on hoops, I can't remember?

Season tickets are charged according to your age on the first day of the season I maybe member cards work in the same way so you can continue paying the lower price for the rest of the season.

YWR has 1073 on account that he has received a small bonus for being a ball team member for the previous 2 seasons. 8) He would have even more if the away matches he attended last season has been put on his member card which had been upgraded to adult on account he was a ball boy. I have a mere 926 ...

That thread is a poll and the title says so.

I found this thread more useful as it took me straight to the information I needed to see.

Thanks

The barrier at the bottom of Hurst Way (nr Costco roundabout) was up and the stewards were using a small portable barrier to hold back cars which eased pedestrian congestion. Ahead of me I did see a bus of away fans depart for Foster Wheeler within just 5 minutes of full time and while the road was ...

One problem for a ST exchange system is that Reading FC use a member card which would soon get lost/stolen if it was loaned out to strangers. If a book of tear off tickets was issued then it would be possible to have a exchange pool. How many clubs issue their season tickets as separate tickets thes...

I suggest also that the club keeps the carpark closed and locked down from 20 minutes before the final whistle, that way people won't leave early and those that do will hopefully be out of the way long before the final whistle That is a great idea. :D At every home game the same family in my row le...

Kevin, Wally The man marking tactics at Man Utd must have required huge discipline from the players. How unnatural is it for the team to play that way? Whose idea was man marking or did everyone know it was just the natural thing to do? How much were you both involved in devising the tactics for man...
