Re: Back from the shambles - Brum

Turning point in our season somehow seems to be when Steven Reid left. I don't know what he did behind the scenes or what his relationship was like with the players but they have just seemed to stop playing for Stam since he has gone, and everything has seemed to go to shit. He left just before the...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by 5 games without a win

This sounds a bit like the Hull home game where the movement (or lack of it) was appalling.

Dellor's getting into Vidra territory dangerously at the moment.

Sutekh Allardyce gone to Everton yet ?

Everton confirm Sam Allardyce will finalise a deal today to become the club's new manager.

That popped up as an alert on my BBC Sport app on my phone 7 minutes ago.

Re: It is all Grimsby's fault!

Not an away day I've done. Is it as bad as the reputation? Any good old fashioned harbour side boozers to take the edge off an otherwise drab trip? My Dad once got talking to some fishermen in a Grimsby pub one night and ended up going out to sea with them the next day to work a few days on the tra...

This is working but in German

I watch the entire game on Greek TV. That was a surreal experience especially as the commentator clearly couldn't give a shit about the game.

We'll go 2-0 up and miss a penalty.

You know what happens after that.

Latest Stam update: McShane and Swift doing well/available Dodi, they don't seem to know what is wrong with him. Certainly still out/needs further tests Yann still not ready - 'need to be careful with him' etc https://static.rcgroups.net/forums/attachments/2/6/9/6/8/9/a3184953-186-mad-man-pulling-h...

Re: Reading FC 1985/86

Mr Angry I went to the game where we got promoted; a turgid 0-0 away at Darlington........

I literally have no memory of the actual game, it really was that terrible.

You can see my hand and watch strap on the front page of the Evening Post.

That was a fantastically awful game. But who cared? We were up!

Some online sites are offering 6-1 on us for a top six finish and 50-1 for us to win the league. That's just to good to resist. Which ones!? https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/top-6-finish https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/winner Highest is actually 7/...

NewCorkSeth Hilariously that's my family company. My great granddad founded O'Neills.

I've done some work for them in Strabane. It was a few years ago and they weren't looking to get into the soccer market as it was too competitive. Guess that's changed now.
