Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

I don't see why you couldn't give a penalty for the foul and then book the fouled player for unsportsmanlike behaviour if he over-reacted.

Re: The Champions League Thread 2013/14

I reckon they'd have a minor team left in the home league. Most could afford to pay the 1 and a half squads required.

yeast sample? paint drying? Looking at it, you could probably make a stab at estimating significance. There's hundreds of results cited for the total pool of refs, plus they're comparing a similar number of decisions for the same man before and after a point. http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/arch...

Slightly more wordy than most but we can file it under "England fans get it wrong on a two year cycle" Technique: Just how important is it really? Brendan Rodgers thinks English players have as good or better technique than Brazilians, though noticeably had no answer as to why England have...

Halfway twixt lol and horror

Of course, you can find any idiotic view you like if you look in the right places on Twitter, but there were some Liverpool fans in the 140-character world who linked Howard Webb's performance to his former job with the South Yorkshire Police.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I like living in the North, I'm 20 minutes from the Dales, it's great, just the whole mythological ideal in the North of everyone pulling together for the greater good whilst everyone in the South being selfish and out for themselves is utter bollocks. In my experience, there's more civic responsib...

Yellow for me.

However, genuinely believe referee saw Gorks leave the ground and foot catching opponent regardless what tv might show us so from that respective I can see why red was given.

Thanks.

Silver Fox Why do people keep saying that winning a tackle was a silly thing for Gorrks to do?

It's not that he won it, it's that he put himself in a position where he could get a red card.

So every tackle is silly then? Cool

No offence but that's genuinely :| stuff.

Re: Red Card-Yes or No?

The referees assistant flagged for the offence as he was closer much closer than the referee. The referee should have consulted with him before making a decision. Personally think it was a yellow. Two officials can see the offence at the same time you know. It's not a game where you flag and I blow...
