Peeved

Mr Mad is clearly peeved at not finding a buyer and is embarking on an asset stripping excercise. Not investing, clearly doing things on the cheap, his cheapness has peeved off Watford and now we have lost Tommy Smith. Mr Rodgers is clearly a YES man that spouts just the stuff we don't want to hear....

Re: NO LONGER A RUMOUR - Bikey to Burnley fee agreed

This is pathetic-thank f&ck I didn't renew my season ticket. What a total, unmitigated disaster the last 2 seasons have been. I was glad to see the back of Coppell and would be glad to see the back of JM. Bikey is total class , unlike the management at this club. LOL. I guess you're probably on...

At the moment, I don't see you have a viable plan, strength in the squad or investing sufficiently in the right areas.... therfore I won't be investing..... IM OUT

Re: I am Enjoying Watching Reading...

Deathy, you must be about 12 years old  . Never waning support is a really good thing in certain circumstances, i.e good old days at Elm Park when the team fought for every result, the fans gave their full support, prices were affordable for the majority. Now the situation has changed, can you...

Re: I am Enjoying Watching Reading...

You miss the point, Doyle etc didn't play today but they will. I know all about support, I recall the passion on the terraces as we beat Wolves 4-2 in that cup game, in those days it was all about football, wearing your heart on your sleeve for the team. Nowdays it's all about money and plastic supp...

I am Enjoying Watching Reading...

.... this season in the Premiership....Doyle, hunt, Shorey, Sidwell, Sonko, Kitson... possibly Bikey. Gives me an interest in most games on MOD. Brilliant !.... next season I can watch even more no doubt and it will also save the cost of a season ticket !. What more can I ask for..... Apart from som...

It's not all about the money

Some quotes.... "Royals’ new boss has been told he must wheel and deal in the transfer market and I understand the 36-year-old has to sell players up to the value of £11million to balance the books ." "Doyle, who is recovering from a calf injury, is Reading’s most prized asset. The st...

Re: I don't understand where it went wrong

DEFENCE...... Our back four changed to consist of Armstrong, Doobs (poor distribution, likes the hoof), Bikey / Pearce (confidence players) and Rosenior (Mr huff and puff with no end product). Best line up in the back four was Murts, Armstrong, Ingi, Bikey. Defence is key, a good back line gives the...

Re: General disillusionment with the players...

I have waited to write this until tonight as I am still gently seething about what I see week after week at The MS. I was supposed to be visiting a friend this w/e, but plans changed last minute which meant I decided to go to the game on Sat. Even though I had been 'let down' so many times lately I...

Yep,I will reply to that most excellent post. As I said,I received my leaflet from the club through the post on saturday, which by all accounts was March 21st   . So where exactly was this information made available on March 10 . Even so, for a lot of people less than a months notice is ...

Re: Will You Be Renewing Your Season Ticket Before 3rd Of April?

I for one am disgusted that the clucb has given me one and a bit weeks (received my letter yesterday) to renew "at this years prices". Quite obviously they dont have much confidence in getting promoted and so anticipate a reduction in ticket sales in these times of 'credit crunch' and job ...
