Re: The Yak

Whatever he does now is a bonus, that single goal earned us a quarter final game bringing in hundreds of thousands for the club. Also it was prem quality finish that showed amazing control and accuracy. I'm happy with that !, but look forward to more :D

Re: Derby v Reading - Sponsored by Robbie Savage

Yakubu! He's only been on the pitch for a few minutes but the veteran has fired Reading ahead! He stays onside, has no real pace left any more but shows good strength to hold off the chasing defenders and firing in a low left-footed shot. His first goal in England since May 2012 - for Blackburn aga...

Saturday 21st September 1996 Reading 1 Crystal Palace 6. The 6th goal Palace scored, their scorer looking back at the Southbank, arm raised with huge smug grin on face waving at us !!!

Re: CONFIMRED - Glenn Murray on loan

Sky ratings from his Palace game today: Player ratings Crystal Palace: Speroni (6), Ward (6), Dann (6), Delaney (6), Kelly (6), Ledley (6), Puncheon (8), McArthur (6), Bannan (5), Gayle (7), Murray (5). Leave him there, for 3m we could bring in a new striker and defender. Murray just isn't that good...

Re: Huddersfield (A) FAC - Match Thread

seanboyd_2 Not a great game but we played the perfect away game to be honest, we cut them out of the game and took our chance and closed the game out, Happy?.

I am.

+1 no goals conceded and an away win.

Baggie192 Evening Hope you all had a great Christmas and a safe prosperous New Year. So, how's he doing

Changed we way we play by a country mile, we look far better than we did and the players have more bite too. So far so good, looks promising to me.

Re: BFTG Brighton

I'd argue federici should have come for the ball on the first goal. Struggling to think of a worse player I've ever seen in a Reading shirt than Blackman Oooo - I think that might spark quite a long list......... I'll start with Dean Morgan - who scored today for the Cards. That's easy. Mark Reilly...

Re: CONFIMRED - Glenn Murray on loan

i'd let Murray go. He missed 2 today and some of the goals he has scored have included a large slice of luck!.

We need 3 new players, one central defender, one left winger and one striker.... based on a 4-4-2

Re: SPECULATION - Scott Sinclair

Tommio
tidus_mi2 If he was made available for loan, a Premier League club would snap him up.

City tried to get rid of him and Jack Rodwell in the summer window. Rodwell went but no one wanted Sinclair in the Premier League

not surprised, doesn't he come with that thing that used to be in Corrie ?!

West Brom (June 2012 - Dec 2013)
Played 60
Won 19
Drawn 15
Lost 26

But then who would want the Reading managers job right now? ....we maybe have the best of the applicants ?

Re: Adkins Sacked - Not a Wind Up

I think this phrase fired the bullet... (certainly did as far as I was concerned) "It was very, very close in terms of the game but it wasn't in terms of the scoreline. "Goals change the complex of games, we came here to be positive, started well and their keeper made a couple of early sa...

Re: Season Tickets

I have been a season ticket holder since the Mark McGee days. Right now I am seriously questioning renewing next season, I have missed a few home games this season already mainly through lack of interest. So why ?... well the football is very poor right now yes, but I have seen poor times under Bull...
