Re: The run-in: Predictions

Think it will be Ipswich for me, coming up on the rails with very little in the way of hype around them. McCarthy knows what he is doing there too so probably appreciating being under the radar and keeping the pressure off a touch

Re: Akpan Wants First Team Foosball

When a player comes on as sub and is blowing after every run then you know something is wrong. I followed him around the pitch, ignored the game and essentially he had no interest in getting involved at all. Not able to cut it at this level

What a crap question...

Toughest question put to him so far. It's like choosing your favourite child

VINTAGE ROYAL the Prince of wales in caversham is starting to run a bus again. Car park, good beer, big screen for game b4 match. If it gets as popular as the 1st time tho you will need to get there early

Run by a oxf*rd and has about seven people go on the bus. Fox is the only decent Caversham option

Player of the season so far for me. Class above this league which he proved last season with Brighton and now this season with us. Our shrewdest signing at left back since Nicky Shorey http://www.football-league.co.uk/javaImages/3a/e3/0,,10794~12116794,00.jpg Will never be forgiven for refusing to ...

Re: Jack Wilshere

Not many things have astonished me more than the apparently serious assertion that smoking 40 a day won't affect a footballer's performance. Utterly utterly bizarre. Especially as it is a stimulant as we'll, so in no way helps to calm nerves or adrenaline levels. I know an ex professional badminton...

Overzealous stewarding... Man City vs Wigan https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BU89e7mCUAA4rjd.jpg Should have made for a decent atmosphere though. One thing I've never really understood is when a small away following chooses to spread itself out over an entire stand, dilutes any atmosphere they generate....
