Swindon losing 0-1 at home and we're about to take their highly rated centre back off them. They slip ever closer to the League 1 drop zone.

our 6th successive victory there since we lost 7-5 in 82, its fair to say we are their bogey team played 40 W27 D8 L5 .

Hampshire Royal And guess what - he might be right.

Oh, of course, we have plenty of goalscoring talent in place if Shane gets injured!

Long's only scored one of the three and yes we're lucky to have him, we'll just have to hope that Hunt or Church or the new striker(s) that we're signing can step up to the mark.

Am I remembering this properly, or were people like you saying that we should buy a new striker to replace Long?

It's nice to see that even the most stupid can change their opinions if the evidence is strong enough!!

Great equaliser for Preston and that Norwich equaliser drops Cardiff 2 places.

Will be interesting to see what McDermott has to say on potential transfers.

Look in the mirror before you start to call others stupid you fool!

No you do not remember properly. At no point did I say to replace Long but I have always said that we should buy another (or more) striker and I still hold by that. What's more there might have been a time when that other striker might have been selected ahead of Long. In no shape or form is that the same as saying get rid of him.

Of course you can adopt your dishonest and very selective use of statistics to claim we would be fine if we lost Long to injury but even someone like you surely can't be stupid enough to suggest that the rest of them would chip in with the missing goals?! The goalscoring stats across the season until now would not tend to support that.

BTW, your hero must be incredibly stupid because he still doesn't appear to fit your criteria of changing his opinion on the way things should be run, no matter how strong the evidence is. And whilst he continues in that vein I wouldn't count your chickens on a new striker(s) until you have seen his pen in hand, smug grin on his face and said striker(s) sat next to him.

That's because the third wasn't a shot, it was a blocked clearance.
