The Reading FC shared folder is part of my personal on-line allowance.

I have 8 Gig.

I'm guessing video use a lot of space?

If so, you could do the same as I've done (but for video) or put videos up short-term.

How big are the files?

My Reading FC file is 39GB at the moment, Basically every vid/pic I've saved.
Oh and someone has deleted the lot again, Don't think this is gonna work.
It should be administrated better, ie You own the folder so you have full admin rights (can upload/delete anything),
Anybody else can upload anything but can only delete what they have uploaded.

No videos then, thanks. It would cost me a fair bit of money.

Fair play for opening this up for like minded people Snowball, but I think you're being a little naive to think someone is doing accidentally and telling them the above will make a difference.

If you are saying a HobNobber has signed up just to vandalise the site, I'm more than a little disappointed.

I was at the Derby game but in G3 in the corner, and not in a great place for shots.

Nevertheless there are about a hundred new shots now posted.

The files are in the Reading FC Shared Folder.

The RFC folder now contains sub-folders. One for Coventry Away, one for Derby, Home.

I am going to presume that the file deletions are accidents, but here's the info again.

If you have DropBox and have been invited to share the Reading FC folder (includes Coventry and Derby sub-folders),
though these appear AS IF they are on your personal hard-disc, they are NOT. What looks like a folder on your disc is
just a window to the central storage on the internet,

If you wish to copy photographs FROM Drop Box to your own hard disc, feel free, but please leave anything actual in DropBox ALONE.

I know.

There is a photo facility (not collaborative) in DropBox and I can set pictures up there, but that means re-inviting everyone to access it.

Good for you Snowball. Its a shame if someone seeks to start disrupting the work you've done. Seems a pretty low shot.

I've created a non-collaborative "gallery"

Photos can be viewed more quickly, and you can then (if you want)

Not sure if you can copy or download to your own machine

Yet again the photos have been vandalised.

I have now deleted the shared folder so they can't be vandalised again.

That, of course means nobody can add to the folder, either.

Blame the morons, not me.

The photographs ARE still available in DropBox in a public photo folder here

If I do more I will simply add a third/fourth URL as above.
