No problem with flags that you can hang off railings and that, it's the stupid ones with sticks that i can't stand that make the day tripper stand out. Any of those ones near me may get an ear full from me!

Royal With Cheese
1871 Royal
RobRoyal I want to see a "FOR ARMSTRONG" flag please.

Fantastic to see him in the changing room after the Cardiff game, would love it if we could get all 39,002 people singing "stand up for Chris Armstrong"

Unfortunately at least 15,000 "fans" wouldn't know who he is.

Makes no difference, we do, the players do and most importantly chris will! Those 15k could do with some RFC education

I think I may just buy one as a thumb to those without a sense of fun!!

Jester hats, face paints and cheap market stall flags aren't my cup of tea either but for some they add to the fun and therefore the atmosphere. A good day out for a peripheral fan could mean he becomes a more avid follower of the club

Rather watch the game than block everyone's view behind you waving a bit of tat about.

I agree. It's such an important game, flags, inflatables etc shouldn't deserve much thought.

Right the banner has been completed. Anyone who sees me en route to the match, in the stadium or more importantly - prior to the game in The Green Man please feel free to sign the banner as a show of support to Chris. The aim is the get this back to him via the Club as a mark of respect to him. That side of the process is ongoing but i shall be carrying marker pens for people to add their thoughts / wishes.

If i can get the image uploaded i will.

TheMaraudingDog Why do supporters of small time clubs feel the need to incorporate the St George into a CLUB flag? Complete lack of class and imagination.

Will try and find my 'the royals' flag out, similar to the one which used to be at elm park on the Norfolk road near to town end roof.
