Basingstoke-Royal Just becuase you sit in Y26 and sing doesn't make you anymore of a fan then anyone else? I go to pretty much every away + home game a season but guessing i'm not a proper fan cos i sit in west?

This thread is getting stupid ...

Sing?

I'm there to be entertained not get a sore throat. Motivate & encourage team? B*ll*cks. Overpaid bunch of prima donnas

Thats actually shocked me and you go to a lot of games, you sir have the wrong attitude.

If you are saying things like that at the end of this season I don't think you know what being a fan is and you have had 40 years to perfect it.

Clearly, and understandably, you are unaware of my type of sense of humour.

Don't worry...........

Blue_White_Blood All I'm saying is there are 3types of football fan, my personel belief is that football supporters, back the team no matter what the situation, don't go around slagging players off etc.

Again this is my view

That's fair enough.

However, using this criteria, the fact that you think the only true supporters are in Y26 is a bit  and :| .

Not slagging players off - REALLY!!!!???????
Give us a definition of a 'true' supporter then. After this introspective naval gazing i hope you come up as a perfect 10.

If you weren't at Barnet 4-1 Reading in the LDV a decade ago then you don't deserve this promotion, tbh.

I didn't go to this, but I did got to Hereford in 2001 for the LDV. Do I deserve promotion?

The more things you can tick off this list the better supporter you are:

1. You’ve made a oxf*rd gesture towards the away fans
2. You’ve made a oxf*rd gesture towards the home fans (not ours)
3. You’ve done advanced oxf*rd gestures, this must be the full mime with your hand below you waist and the appropriate facial expression
4. You’ve had a piss at Elm Park, Kidderminster, Oxford, Swindon, Keele services and one of the grounds in the North East.
5. You’ve sung “Shaun Cummings all over your face”
6. You’re that shy streaker from the early days of the Madejski
7. You’ve waved a willy around during an inflatable day

Wow, thanks for reminding me of that! What a desperately shit game that was.
And all watched from temporary grandstand seating that felt like it would fall down at any minute....... 8)

If a players not putting enough effort in for our club maybe he deserves to be slagged off.

oldebiscuit I just wonder how many of the 'Jesters Hats' and 'Face Paint' critics have previously taken part in a call to arms for 'Inflatables Day' ? or even taken an inflatable to a game?
You know the that call generally goes out prior to the last away game of the season.

Fack off

oldebiscuit After the game at Brum, i just have to ask that question again.

Fack off again...

ben, are you one of the 'inflatables', 'jesters hats', or 'face paint' merchants that have all contributed to showing the world what a bunch of twats English football fans have become? I bet you just love that 'pre-match huddle' and the PA command to shout 'URZ'.
