*Think* we were only on SKY four times last season. One win, two draws and a defeat.

Season before, think we were on 15 times. Five wins, five draws, five defeats.
Interestingly* we didn't feature once in the first 8 games, 7 of which of course, we won. They stuck us on three times in four games after that winning run and we lost all four.

Norfolk Royal I reckon it must be that the SCL has good facilities for TV and is close to London as well so they don't have to go very far.

Good facilities at the SCL does not really work for the November games, as two are away. Not far to travel does though, with short trips to Luton and Watford.

Tend to do pretty well at Birmingham though, so could completely make/settle your weekend with 3 points on the board!

Not ideal but still a £20 reciprocal game.

Changes to Christmas games due to TV meaning we have no game on Boxing Day or New Year's Day this season.

Swansea home game has been picked up by Sky - match will now be at 5.15pm on Tuesday 27th December.

As a result, the game at Norwich has shifted back 24 hours and now takes place on Friday 30th December at 7.45pm

Finally the NYD game at WBA will take place on the 2nd January with a 3pm kick off.

Really getting a bit annoyed with Sky's sudden interest in Reading this season.

Might it be because Ince is manager or just because Reading at home is an easy set up for them and their mates being nice and local and all that? We've already lost 3 Saturday games to a Friday night this season and now we lose Boxing Day, traded for some obscure idiot ko time the following day!

Oh well I suppose it's more money for the club so it's not all completely bad (anyone able to give the amount of money made so far) but it's not as if the "bigger" games are being selected, it largely seems to be the non-descript dross which Reading are eminently good at making themselves look naff in!

For away games, I think we get about 10k per games - so would have got that last night. For home games, you are looking at around 50k to 100k depending on the timeslot. I think Friday is at the top end of the scale - so lets call it 100k - that's equivalent of around 4000 tickets, so unless the PNE game on Friday would have attracted 4k or more fans at 3pm on Saturday, then the club are quids in in that regard but may lose money elsewhere i.e. floodlights on for longer, loss of sales over counters if say 10% who would normally attend don't.

For some unknown reason Hull v Reading is the game choosen for EFL International broadcast on the 12th November. So there will be plenty of feeds around if you want to see our last game before the nearly month-long WC break.

Ince pointing out the Sky issue. Thanks to Sky Reading have had to face 3 games in a week on 3 occasions, more than any other team so far.

Some of our worst performances have come when we are more rested than the opposition so it’s all BS.

If they’re that concerned about fitness maybe they should try not chasing shadows with 30% possession every game.
