friday fan I guess its not often as a RFC fan that I feel in a bit of a downward mood but it seems Shane Long is finally off, sure a great fee to help plug the annual black hole. I haven't been excited about a signing our club has made for some years and indeed don't look forward to the start of the season because I sit here and wait to see who is sold.

RoyalBlue My feelings exactly. How many other clubs manage to instil a feeling of dread before the start of the first game of a new campaign?!

More than the amount who instil hope and positivety.

Go away and support Man City or Chelsea if you really can't cope with seeing one of our players move on

Don't accept that. Most supporters at all levels of football go into the opening game with a high level of optimism. I doubt there are that many who season after season are left waiting to see who their chairman is going to agree to sell this time around.

Tough! You'll keep getting them until Madejski starts to walk the walk. What makes matters worse is the egotistical sod keeps coming out on the pitch asking for the applause from his obedient subjects. What other supporters have to put up with such antics from their chairman?!
